Wow!!! I need a minute to take that all in. So, many powers (drool). It looks like we do can get 9 powers but we create "profiles" not classes and we switch between the 2-3. Interesting gameplay mechanic. And, SMG's gone? Hmmmmm, probably one of the less used weapons between the other 4. Nah, it seems they united SMGs and Pistols like they did with ARs and Sniper Rifles. The Harrier is shown, so I doubt SMGs are gone. AR and SR are still separate.

Damn, this was actually amazing. The only thing that disappoints me are the skills; to clarify, the apparent lack of powers like Reave, or Decoy, or Fortification, Sabotage, Carnage, etc... That really dealt a blow to me, emotionally speaking. The presence of Annihilation helps alleviate the pain, though.

Looks fun, a bit disappointed that we don't get any MW weapons with cooldown. I assume the remnants weapons are like the prothean beam weapon. Hopefully we can make MW weapons with cooldown. Otherwise it looks fun. Is the Submachine guns moved to pistols or assault rifles? Will be fun to try a cloaked Vanguard.

Everything is just so smooth. I love it. Throwing people around will become my favorite thing. yeah it looks fast and fluid as well so like that and yeah that's why I love playing with biotics mostin the trilogy.It's like I don't need a gun to kill you I can just toss you head first into a bulkhead. Not playing a biotic atm but it's one of the things I love abou tthem an dkind of why I was planning to make my first Ryder one.

It has been a while since I played but I recall being able to freeze the action on the fly especially in the second game. This allowed an almost turn-based style combat to assess the situation and if I recall correctly to send commands to squad mates
I still didn't play the third game so I do not know if that is possible in that game but I am really curious if that stop and go style of play is still possible. I really hope I read wrong when it looked like someone suggested you can't even command squad mates anymore.
I will watch the trailer when I get home from work. I am sure they would not showcase the stop and go kind of play I liked but I am hoping the squad member communication question is clear.

I'm definitely content so far. Looks like there's a lot of opportunity for flanking, the jet pack-hovering looks horrifying, yet good for getting around cover.
It's very fast-paced, but, I play Sentinel, so, I force combat to slow down by sheer will and armor. The biotic-people-shield combined with tech armor could be super fun to play around with, keeping my shields up forever and ever.
I'll need to see how to give orders to my companions, though. That's a huge part of how I played in the trilogy.

Good;
-Seems like we'll have a lot of options. At least ten guns per category, a comprehensive amount of skills both old and new, and several armor types as we saw. That's great.
-Plasma weaponry? Unlimited beam weaponry? Class Milky Way weapons (mah Crusader!)? Sign me up, son. Also, Krogan Hammer.
-Biotics and tech skills look awesome. I can't wait to try the Flamer and see what I can make it work with. Combat skills are slightly less flashy, but the deployable cover seems pretty handy. But throwing people around with biotics just seems sooo tempting, too.
-Fluid! Even moreso than ME3 it seems. Stafe, jump, hover, this almost looks like Doom in its movement scheme. Highly pleased.
-Enemy variety seems there; robots, footsoldiers, snipers, mechs and big evil beasties.
The less good;
-AI. Both allies and enemies seemed fairly braindead to be quite honest. Core and Liam standing out in the open looked a bit silly near the end.
-Only 3 skills at once, booo. I assume the Favorites tab will allow us to swap loadouts on the fly, but not in combat. So it's not a dealbreaker, but they could have allowed more than 3. And are passive skills such as weapon damage included in the limit? I sure hope not.
Overall, highly impressed with this. Seems they took ME3's combat and turned it up to 11, which can only mean good things in my books.

Good stuff:
Aiming down sights now switches to a first person view instead of some really zoomed in third person perspective that causes your character to block most of your vision. One of the biggest disadvantages of third person shooting elegantly eliminated. Well done!
Sara actually looks good in the in-game menu. Clearly better than her frigging character kit.
Not so good stuff:
Enemy AI. They sometimes act like they aren't sure what's going on, why they are there and why someone is shooting at them. Others just stand and hold position while taking a pounding. And their movement speed looks to be somewhere between walking and running.
