There was a brief mention about it in the trailer. I know, I just wanted to be sure if it was in combat. Althought I do hope it'll be less clunky then going into the menu to swith them. The fact that there are four makes me think they can be accessed with the d-pad on console.

Having a total of 16 abilities to use at the same time sounds like a major improvement since ME3 limited us to 7 and DAI limited us to 8.

Some random thoughts from the video:
> I really like seeing the numbers on the gun stats finally, rather than requiring going into the files to get that information. Something like the Crusader having an accuracy of 53 is largely arbitrary, but it's nice to see 468 damage, 80 Rate of Fire, and 4 max clip size. > I know it was in an earlier video but it's on display here again that there will be hazardous environments, which is nice to see. Hopefully it's just not a bitch to manage your life support(and maybe upgrades to increase how much you have if you think you're going onto a particularly hostile planet). > Gun skills seems to be back to enhance how useful you are with that chosen weapon as a combat skill. I don't imagine as this will be much of a hindrance as they're clearly pushing the whole "you can respec mid-game" angle a lot. These skills can quicken up reload speeds, meaning reload time is now dynamic and not tied to the animation like it was in ME3. > Based on evolution names it seems as though Fitness is now not forcing you to choose between more HP/Shields and more melee damage which was incredibly counter productive to what melee needed in Mass Effect.
Overall I do like what I see from the trailer even if we didn't get a huge amount of uncut combat footage.

This is like the first real look we get to see the game in action......and I must say it looks good. Was starting to have my doubts since Bioware simply wouldn't show the game in action. But this video did lay to rest a lot of my fears.

Hopefully it is just lower difficulty setting for sake of presentation of combat abilities.

That was my only query too: that bit where Ryder is shooting dude in the face for about 10 seconds and he's not even flinching... My point was that if the Insanity is REALLY hard, you may absolutely need the bonuses that come from unlocking "classes" (aka profiles) and basically forcing yourself into one of the old 6 classes and thus tuning your squad to that class

Bioware has to prove itself with this game for them to regain some trust with me. Which they can do it only at late March.
