So as big of a fan of Mass Effect, I am also a huge fan of Destiny (mechanics and online community, not the story). I've put in more hours playing with my close community raiding, playing strikes, and mostly collecting gear/weapons to play virtual Barbie in space. Both games are very different from one another, but I cannot help to think there are aspects of both games that could bleed to the other. Here is my top list of things in Destiny that I would like to see in Mass Effect: (Everything I state is purely creative thinking but please pick it apart, criticize, and add to the list)
-More use of cloaks, capes, hoods, sashes, and general cloth accessories added as options to your character and other characters/enemies
-More tanks and alien vehicles that we fight even on foot-speeder bikes in addition to the nomad- Legendary/Exotic Weapons: Have extremely hard quests to find these weapons or have it as a rare drop from an enemy (I want an exotic gold plated Space revolver)-Legendary/Exotic Alien Armor: These pieces can be super rare and have some cool glow or animation to them giving us a rare/unique perk. The perks could happen automatically like an additional shield or reflecting bullets under certain circumstances. Give me some Kett Bone Armor! Also could drop from super bosses-Dance Machines are a must (Perk: ability to dance anywhere)-respawning enemies in the open world areas of the game
-Item drops in general. Not to the extent of Destiny, but rare mods, legendary weapons, certain alien armor pieces like we just saw in the game play demo. This gives the game more replay value to free roam/fight in addition to awesome story. This works better now that it's not part of the trilogy. There is no pressing factor to have the need to push forward with the story -Heavy Weapons would be nice -More weapon customization: being able to switch a rifle from semi auto to automatic, make a gun have better stability or more impact (basically a more detailed version of the ME mods)
-Weapon Skins/Colors
-Online Free Roam: Like DA:I for shits and giggles. Would not replace ME:3 multiplayer. I could see this happening down the road as DLC for some reason.
-Larger scaled humanoid enemies. I find it strange that none of the aliens vary a ton in scale. Turians are certainly taller than humans, but not twice the size. Having battles against giant aliens that aren't considered bosses would be cool. I'm thinking the Cabal from Destiny.
-Various types of enemies within the same faction (scale, function, etc) This goes with the point above. Considering something like the hive, I would want the Kett or Remnant to have different variations. Some Kett could be larger than others. They may have other enslaved aliens fighting for them.

IMO they can take anything from Destiny except from the tanks or bosses that are bullet-sponges. Destiny was an awesome, atmospheric and immersive and social multiplayer experience. I Have not bothered with Taken King despite hearing they finally fixed the story-related approach to the series because since Marty O'Donnel left and the original art designer it looks like a lot of the game's atmosphere and flavor has left it too. But I distinctly remember how fond I was of the game in the first few hours. It truly felt special and the mechanics are so amazing in it (because they're ripped from Halo lol)

IMO they can take anything from Destiny except from the tanks or bosses that are bullet-sponges. Destiny was an awesome, atmospheric and immersive and social multiplayer experience. That's my problem. It's become incredibly inconsistent and drawing inspiration from too many styles. It's like half-cartoon mixed with hard-science tech art. It's starting to look uninspired. I guess we'll see with the sequel this fall. Destiny 1 was made for old gen consoles so it'll be interesting to see what they do now that's being made for more powerful devices. Still ME>>>>Destiny at least in terms of story I wouldn't even go there. Destiny isn't trying to be a great story at all. It's just a mild piece of entertainment that comes with it.
