Coming up next is the GDC in San Francisco. Bioware has three speakers there. While the conference is mostly for game developers and companies, some info could be coming our way as well about MEA. I'm betting on PC-requirement announcement. Here are the people and their titles Bioware has speaking in GDC: Ben Cloward, CG Supervisor Neil Thompson, Head of Art and Animation Barbara Klimek, Quality Assurance Team Lead Does somebody else have a greater insight of the GDC? I'm relatively new to this kind of stuff. Any thoughts? Here's the link to the conference, GDCEdit. Added link and edited the title

I follow GDC on Youtube. Regularly developers come to present their design-ideas and experience in 1-hour presentations. I have a feeling that's what this is.
Sometimes they also have QA panels where a row of developers attend and industry-people get to ask. I think GDC is specifically for game developers but I can't be sure.
I know there's also an upcoming PAX Expo where Jo Berry (Writer of Cora) is attending, so I think that will be a panel of sorts, that maybe we're lucky someone will film it.

Here are the sessions held by Bioware people: BioWare Embedded QA: Your Support ClassSpeaker: Barbara Klimek,Quality Assurance Team Lead, BioWare "A game development team is a lot like a party running a dungeon. You've got your production tank who draws aggro, your DPS Devs spinning out content, but what about your support class? This is where embedded QA comes in. Embedded QA are fully geared up members of the team ready to provide buffs and monitor the party's health. BioWare QA has invested in its internal QA analysts, embedding them directly in the teams they support to help them deliver some of the most ambitiously scoped out titles time after time. Like finding the perfect build for your class, it is an ongoing process and BioWare would like to share it with other teams looking to make more out of their QA." Technical Artist Bootcamp: Shaders 201: Creating Art with MathSpeaker: Ben Cloward, CG Supervisor, BioWare "Building on last year's "Shaders 101" talk, this presentation will go beyond the basics and present several more advanced shader techniques. As the industry continues to explore the exciting world of shader creation, tech artists will learn basic concepts and functions, and then put them together to create beautiful pixels. No previous shader or programming experience is required, but basic math understanding will be helpful." The Future of Real-Time Lighting: A Panel (Presented by ARM)A panel discussion with many speakers, including Neil Thompson, Head of Art and Animation, Bioware "Real-time lighting is a relatively young field within games. It is also one of the most important. As cinematographers have long known, it can make or break the final image, set the mood or enhance the story. But creating real-time lighting in games comes with a unique set of creative and technological challenges.
This panel of industry experts will explore current issues in real-time lighting and discuss what the future holds in terms of opportunities and challenges. We will conduct the session in a town-hall style with a moderator and the opportunity for attendees to ask questions to the panel. " Edit. Added Neil Thompson and the session he's attending

Someone photograph their t-shirts! They might have hints for their new IP.
