I honestly do not understand this kind of concern in an SP game. How could it bother you that on my PC Liam looks different than on your PC? You like to keep to the BioWare's original vision? Amen! I want to put a customization overlay over all NPCs? Why not? Only some of them? Again, no biggie. I just don't get it how it hurts anyone, since overlays a-la SWTOR are low resource and preserve the essential facial features, so will not break the cutscenes animations. It's just a bit of recolours and haircuts switches. All provided by Bio itself. Anyway, we are not getting this option, so it's a moot point, but boy, I'd like either the option or the knowledge of how to build a look I like as a PC, and then override in the game with the code for a companion. I'd rather that, than pout that BioWare did not ask me personally about my preferences and make assumptions that's there is some crazy agenda because I do not get ethnicity, hair color or length that I find appealing on my LI. Such a simple way to please if not everyone, then most of people... The sad thing is we won't even be able to change out own appearance in terms of hair/beards/scars/marks after our initial choices at the beginning of the game. It's 2017, such restrictions seem like laziness, and I mean Ubisoft style laziness. You should be able to change your beard, hair, etc as the game progresses. Period.

I only played one game where you could do it (DA2), and it took a lot off pressure from the initial CC session. In SWTOR it was a monetizing venture, and I did not have problems with this in a MMO. Honestly, I'd rather they cross-pollinated the Mainchar and comp customization options from their MMO into the SP stream games, over gathering, crafting and mob grinds. Fingers crossed they will bring it into their next IP. So much more fun & no drawbacks, save for stepping on the toes of the players that experience a need to police other people's games.
