In order to add someone to your friends list, you both need to follow each other. This can be done by going to a person's profile page and clicking the "Follow" button. They will then receive a notification. Once you have both followed each other, you will receive another notification saying that you are now friends.

Is there a way to move the buttons for pages to the bottom of the thread, or make them appear at the top and bottom?

You need to provide a direct url for the image. You can either use the image tool or use the [.img][./img] tag (with the periods removed) to post it.

Maybe a bit obvious, but for people who don't forum every day, may be useful. Also a few additional notes:

1. Display name, account name and linking: Your display name can be changed to whatever you want (most people just capitalize their account name (permanent) which is the name they signed up with). To link someone in a post (i.e @ them) you must use the account name not display name.
Edit: or maybe this forum is smarter as both @ CrutchCricket and @ crutchcricket (no spaces) worked. Not sure if it'd work if my display name was something else and it's just case insensitive.

2. Forum "rank" thresholds (and names) are set by the admin. Don't know what they are, if Cyonan and co. choose to divulge that info that's up to them.

3. Custom titles can currently only be set by admins. Don't know if that can change. You can request a custom title but don't spam the moddu or ding dong bannu

The image is based on my TSG account not my account here because it has all the features I wanted to highlight.

I refuse to believe this was always the case. I never spotted it until reading this post. You can't trick me with your wizadry.

If you want to quote multiple posts in a reply, here is how to do so:

1. Click the little gear in the top right corner of the post.

2. Click "Select Post".

3. Repeat this on all the posts you want to quote.

4. Click "reply" at bottom right.

How do you edit thread titles? Is it as simple as going into the edit box, don't want to bork it. I'm dumb okay.

Not that I can tell, but that was a "pretty please" I asked about back in the moderator section, so here's hoping.
