Let me start by saying I love the Mass Effect series and consider it one of my most memorable moments in gaming.
However, based on what I've observed here on the forums and what has been revealed by Bioware I question whether this game will continue what I believe are the most enjoyable aspects of Mass Effect.
What I enjoyed most about Mass Effect included:
Presenting difficult choices where neither option was right or wrong and both would lead to some sort of loss.
Knowing that any point in the game I could lose characters I cared most about.
Despite having flaws, ending the series in a beautiful bittersweet manner.
However, there is a segment of the fan base that feels differently:
Those who think ME2 was gods gift to humanity.
Those who complained too much about not getting their rainbow ending
Those who complained that their romance didn't get enough screen time due to ME2's suicide mission and thus do not like character death possibilities.
Those who would lose their **** if they were presented a difficult choice that didn't have a paragon/renegade shortcut that nullifies the whole point of the scene.
People who think this:
Is more classy and romantic than this:
TLDR
I respect and admire that mass effect has a diverse fan base, I just hope mass effect andromeda doesn't cater to any specific group.

The Shepard trilogy very rarely did those things. The only place in the series where you were guaranteed to lose a companion was Virmire, and most choices had a win outcome that resulted in no consequences at all.

Troll thread right? If not then you forgot to add that " in your opinion people complained about" and here you continue with whatever you wanted to say.

He/His buddy succeeded in starting a ME3 ending war in the other troll thread; and he hoped to begin another. Shame on those who fell for the bait, roundabout as it was. Try not to fall for it again.

It's being marketed towards the millions of console owners who have few game options this time of year.
Tho, with the massive praise that Horizon is getting I hope it doesn't cut too hard into its sales. Lord knows Torment is h*cked

I don't think I understand what you are implying here. Are you saying what you liked about ME should be the focus for the game because what you think is what is indicative of what ME is?

It's just that they planned on releasing on consoles as well, and it turns out they are releasing on the same day as Horizon: Zero Dawn. I like isometric crpg's and am afraid it will get completely looked over.

Joke's on you OP, I saw through your trick question - ME:A is not marketed to anybody. It's 1 month to launch and still barely any marketing being done.

In Torment I heard they cut content on companion, they were suppose to be non-humans too or something. The core fandom had some huge nerd rage over it but I doubt is going to be over looked in the PC crowd.
