I have been wondering about interrupts as it was one of the most fun things for me as a player in the mass effect games, but now that renegade and paragon are no longer an option, will there still be interupts? I thought, I read somewhere that there would be? But what kinds would it be? A snarky interrupt? A "punch in the face" interrupt?
One thing I would really like to see is a romance interrupt, like kissing someone unexpectedly or if someone was talking out of control derail them with a flirtasious remark.
What kind of interrupts do you think the game will have, if it has any?

In terms of type, there should be a wide variety, I think.
They shown one example in the VGA trailer. There's not a symbol anymore but a short text of what you can do, with a short timer.

I liked how in ME3 you can pull an interrupt on Samara to prevent her from "doing her duty" regarding her daughter and her code. I would love more tense, emotional moments like that.  |

Interrupts are coming back as "Impulse Actions" in Mass Effect Andromeda. Being as they are no longer tied to Paragon and Renegade, the actions, themselves, will function a little bit differently. We already saw one of these in The Game Awards gameplay reveal back in December.

Sloane signals to her turian bodyguard to get me out of there. Bodyguard points his gun at me, when interrupt to disarm him appears. Timer ticks, then runs out and new interrupt appears, now with text "bitch slap" on it. I'm thinking - What the hell? Why not?  as I press the button. Suddenly I, seemingly uncaring about the gun, walk past the bodyguard, slap Sloane and as I'm crossing my arms on my chest I exclaim with cold voice - I'm in charge now, bitch. And from now on, there is one rule on Kadara... |
