Sorry if this was posted before. If so please merge or delete. I think some of the things in the video, we already know about. In the beginning of the game they ask you if your Sheppard was male or female. I wonder why? |

My guess would be Shepard shows up voicing some kind of video, maybe addressing the initiative or something. My guess is that speech we heard back in the N7 trailer. This would explain why they have you choose Shepard's gender early on. He or she probably opens the game. Smart idea if so. It would be nice if you could pick if they were Renagade or Paragon too, and have the speech be altered based on that. |

I was watching all the trailers and other related ME:A videos yesterday and that scenario did come to mind. I don't think it's going to be anything major, but it still nice to see Sheppard tied to/mentioned in the game in someway. |

I think it will be because Shepard will come up in some conversations now and then, then characters can refer to them as "he" or "she". |

Finally, what's going on with the quarians in Mass Effect Andromeda? BioWare is still refusing to confirm whether we'll see the suited race in the new game or definitely rule them out - but it sounds like they will at least play a minor part:
