Are you English? I feel like maybe non-English folks find chavs novel or something and that's how she came about. Whereas I've had to put up with Sera's frequently in real life.

Isn't "chav" a bit like saying "white trash"? I don't think it's a cool term to use.

I think Sera's accent feels fake and her lingo is like... written by someone who THINKS this is what a "street smart sassy British gal" sounds like that. I think her writing is heavy-handed; she says "The little people" approximately 100 times and her personality remains fairly flat for me - there are no nuances there, no twist in the story, no growth for the character.

I think she had GREAT potential, and I find her design really cute, and her voice actor does her very best. But what's faltering here is the writer, sadly.

Freckles on Brodie? Yes. Let him be showered in freckles on the shoulders, arms and upper back please. Freckles on the face? Maybe a little on the nose, but no.



I actually found Sera from DA:I hilarious. I was not expecting that at all. To be honest, I didn't do much research on DA:I before I played the game and had no idea she existed or would end up as a companion. I ended up bringing her along almost everywhere near the end of the game.

Her remarks were so funny.

They said squadmates can't die in ME:A.... but they didn't say anything about crew.

No, no, I'm sure they won't kill off our one gay dude, right? No, Bioware wouldn't do that.

In ME3 everyone can die. But I will not let Steve die, not on my watch.

I never had a problem with Sera. But maybe that's because I'm pro-circles/sortofanti-magesaswellastemplars and don't give a rats ass about the dalish fucks.
Whenever there's a character that divides opinions, I feel like that's a pretty good character!

She's polarizing but I enjoyed her more than I found her irritating, although, I'll never be okay with what happened in regards to my original devout fem elf run. That really pissed me off.

With the number of romances available, I'm going to assume that there will be at least 1 gay character in the game. It's most likely going to be a human. It'll boil down to Liam or someone in the crew. It would be interesting if it turned out to be someone on the main roster, but I have a feeling Liam is actually going to be straight or bisexual at most.

I wonder if it'll be Gil, or perhaps even Reyes. While I loved Cortez's arc, I hope they approach a romance with a crew member (pun intended) differently this time.

Solas. I connect to the romance on a personal level because I can't be in a relationship with the person I love for complicated reasons! Granted, neither of us are fabeled 'gods' and wanna destroy the world but you know.
