I think the lack of gay romance teasing and people frustrated about it go to the headquarters and they are going to tease one of them, most likely Gil, for a while, and then MAYBE, get a teaser, bio, a pic, anything really. Shit certainly went from 0 to at least 70 quite fast.

Oh I understand. You should have seen me when Kaidan was announced as an m/m option. I went from 0 to 100.
I just hope that we have more than one human m/m romance, as I'm not really into anthropomorphism myself and I don't want to feel constrained to one m/m option like I did in DAI. My favorite romance ended up being Cassandra rather than Dorian though lol
I have a really strong feeling that Liam is straight, so news of Gil has been a relief. I hope he's everything you guys said and more @_@

I didn't really like being cornered into romancing Dorian either, but it was better than nothing so I went with it. DA:I to this day is a subpar game in my eyes and that probably has a big part in why. I also think Liam will be that "straight bro" but nothing more for BroRyder. That said, I'm hoping BW stays true to what they're saying about many romance options and will allow both Reyes and Brodie for m/m plus Jaal for those who are into the alien thing. Reyes -> for those who are into the mysterious, elusive and detective types. Brodie -> for those who are into the masculine but soft and caring types. Jaal -> for those who are into the agile, foreign, logical types. Yeah, I was just thinking of how fast this thread has grown. We only learned about Gil on Friday. I cannot get this heartwarming image out of my head when I think of Brodie and a m/m romance with him. This truly did it for me and now I'm so terrified that my expectations are through the roof. Curses jrpN7   I had to throw those damn spoilers out, because I mean look at it. This has got me so excited to play a male Ryder and immediately hit up Brodie. And this poor writer. He doesn't know I exist, but my wrath is already hanging over his head ready to pounce if the romance doesn't evoke the feelings I feel when looking at that picture! I also had no idea what COOT was, I just spent HOURS watching vids yesterday on YouTube on Brads storyline. My weekend is gone and I was late to work today trying to get things done that I didn't do because I was looking at COOT. *****Goddamnit lolol. I love this thread too much. I need a cold shower. It's very lame how those who play S/S characters (especially m/m) have not gotten any hint of what they can expect for an LI. One small confirmation of a squad romance for m/m or even just giving a yes for one that's outside of squad would go a long way! Straight men know they have Cora. And if Sara does get her cinematic trailer , they'd likely show her romance. One romance confirmation for each gender pairing would hardly be spoiling the game! |
