I want Gil to be awesome. Why can't they just give us a damn picture? Is his looks going to spoil the game too?!? Does he have the games plot written on his forehead?!? I think it's safe to say im sick of every lil aspect of the game being a secret unless they want us to know . I mean really, dude... pics of the full tempest crew is going too far? Why?!? Right? 'We're not talking about Gil. We want you to discover the characters on release. Cora is a freak in bed, btw  '. Oh, fuck off. I actually laugh out loud, ya I have been saying this all the time. The devs only seems to want to give hints(yes it is the devs because the leaks come from devs) for a certain type of players and this kinda piss me off. I would be ok with the secret romance thing if it was for everyone, since it is not just reveal the damn LIs so people can move on and be happy or sad about what they get at least..... but nop, let us drag this to the point of gamers even question bioware about having gay LIs at all, sigh. |

that's actually part of the reason I left the Jaal thread. It's like certain people got a kick out of reminding everyone every few pages that he was straight. yeah. I couldn't deal with that thread at all after the leak gods declared Jaal to be straight "but we are totally supportive of bi, but he's straight and omg how good is this romance gonna be girls! " followed by pages of This thread is SUPER POSITIVIE. Which it is, as long as you are a straight woman or someone who doesn't want to talk about any other outcome then straight Jaal. I am a straight woman, and it made me want to vomit. I limit my time in that thread now for the exact reasons you stated. I'm still not convinced that those leaks are legit, and if they are, I totally agree with you that what they are doing is bordering on maltreatment. It's stupid and cliquish. As for Gil, I really enjoyed Steve's romance in ME3, but I hope (like others of you) that they move on from that trope and give Gil a really awesome story. |

In fact, it's the only reason I ever beat Contra! NES games were brutal! There were so many I never beat. Even with the 30 lives cheat I still had to really work to beat Contra. |

They just release a video for the salarian pilot voice actor. I wouldn't be surprised if they released one for Gil's voice actor soon, given that he's fairly well-known from GoT. They seem to be focusing the crew with the voice actor videos, which is new & different, probably because we've already seen a bit of the squad. I don't think it's fair to see a grand conspiracy in how they're releasing marketing materials. One huge info dump wouldn't do much to sustain interest. Almost all the info for all of the characters has been a slow, steady drip.

It's just weird how any time we ask when we'll see him or hear him or anything in the marketing material, they say they're not sure or that we might have to wait until launch. Meanwhile, Dr. Lexi had her own interview about it. Kallo got to be in a cinematic trailer and a couple screenshots.  Hell, random NPCs have had more marketing material and info released about them than a couple of crewmembers. |
