The first time I played through the game, I pursued Alex. He's my type as far as looks go...and I totally have a weakness for that student/teacher story after falling in love with a similar (hetero) relationship in "Pretty Little Liars". It took three tries, but I was so happy when we ended up together. (I almost ended up on the Ian route the first time and was left single, while only having a casual affair the second time.)
He was a tough one, but worth the prize.

I decided to go for Brad next (because I also have a weakness for the closeted jock story). I had only had a casual encounter with him the first time (when I was going for Alex). There were so many restarts before I finally got with him, but again he was worth it.

Ian was the last one I tried. I believe he took less effort than the other two, but the "friends to lovers" story was also really sweet.
Honestly, they were all very well written and fun to experience.
I can't decide if I love Alex or Brad more (again, weakness for blondes and redheads), but I definitely place them above Ian. I never tried the other two (three?) because they weren't my type. It's been a year since I last played, but I am looking forward to playing it again sometime soon. I really want to try out the rest of the bonus dates!

Also yes, you could totally mistake Brad/Mark for Gil/Scott and I love it! Their awkward college years.

I think you can do at least 1 route within 2 hours x)

The current patch version released last week was 1.06. There was a hotfix released today that fixes some minor things, but is not the 1.07 patch. So are you sure you're seeing that somewhere?

You are right. I went ahead and took a couple of minutes to take a look at it and it's the smaller bug fixes as you mentioned. I guess my system was out of whack it read the way it did make it seem like it was the newest patch. Apologies for getting everyone excited.
