Because the very premise of this thread could've been answered in damn near every gameplay video they've put out since December. and you could have saved yourself time by just saying yes there will be a manual save then to go get a screen cap so you can be snarky to someone for asking a question. Thank you, that's all that needed to be said, no need to be an ass.

You provided what most would construe as a silly question. Thus, the answers you received reflected the absurdity of your question. Yes. This game will have manual saving. BioWare isn't entirely nuts. Ok, As I've said I have played a lot of games that don't have manual saving at all. How is this a silly question to ask? Perhaps I'm just stupid, that could be it. As someone asked you above, are any of those games actually RPGs? Most, if not all, RPGs have some form of manual saving. Whether it's something in the menu or some item/NPC you have to go to in-game. Manual saving is a staple of RPGs. This isn't a first person shooter like Call of Duty.

I believe Shadow of Mordor is technically classified as an action RPG, but it's clearly not on the same level as Mass Effect.

Shadow of Mordor is as much a "RPG" as Call of Duty's Prestige system is legitimate character progression. No, Shadow of Mordor is an action game that's a Lord of the Rings skin of the Batman Arkham games. That would explain your confusion.

stealthfox94 I would just give up on this. The other posters have already expressed how much superior they feel they are with their great knowledge of what an RPG is and how many videos they watched. I mean really HOW DARE you come to a board about a game and ask a question about said game. You should know better. They will continue to contradict every point you make.

My intention wasn't to start a debate on what an RPG is.
