A question My specs are below PROCESSOR: Intel Core i5 3350P MEMORY: 6 GB RAM VIDEO CARD: AMD Radeon R9 270 2GB So i do not meet the RAM spec (i think CPU and GPU are OK) What will be the problem ? Will the game not even load or should i have to play on very low settings ? Thanks for your answer I think game will work on low settings, but you will get long loading times and probably stuttering.. Thanks !

you should still be able to run it. try the trial imo Thanks for the response and the faint glimpse of hope! I'm one of those people who know nothing about computers, so I always assumed that the minimum specs were actually the set-in-stone bare minimum needed to run a game. I haven't heard of a trial though. Is that something I can try now? Origin access is like 5 bucks a month, and are offering a 10 hour trial of andromeda like...6 days before release. That way you can try before you buy

Do you guys think i could run it on a GTX560 standard: 1gb RAM 866mhz? everything else is up to date. I have been able to run every recent game i tried like Inquisition, Resident Evil 7, Witcher 3, Rise of the Tomb Raider etc...Didn't tried Battlefront or battlefield 1 though. the real problem is the ram. can't afford any new gpu by now so i'm really hoping it will work

So, I have a question for the people who are more PC savvy. If a computer meets the recommended specs based on the "Can I Run It" site, but only just barely, for how long would that computer be viable for other games? Like, would it be expected to run future games (like, say, 4 or 5 years would pass before buying a new computer again)?

It'd be easier to tell if you gave specs instead (open start, type dxdiag adn hit enter) and I'm not the most savvy PC player (as you can see from my PC) but yes, if you've got at least a 1060, 16gb RAM and a i7 (albeit and older one) you'll probably be fine for a little while.

I had that case for DAI , and a bit more than 2 years after I now only barely meet the minimum requirement for MEA.

Pretty much what I expected.
I still wish that developers would give some sort of "real world expectations" when it comes to listing their recommended specs, to reflect the modern PC age and provide a baseline to what those specs should get you.
For instance "Recommended system requirements of X CPU, Y GPU, Z GB Ram, etc. etc. based on target of (insert resolution & refresh rate here) at mostly (low/med/high/ultra) settings"

No DX12. Kewl. Low-end AMD GPU users like me are gonna be veeery happy with that ¬¬U (DA:I supported Mantle! And they twitted that Frostbite was DX12-ready a long time ago!).
And what in the absolute freak does this game needs 16 GBs of RAM for?

is the 1060 a little more powerful than 970? Apparently so; I can't test it myself; but on several forums people are saying that the upgrade is almost, though not totally, negligible. Here's nvidia's official comparison page: nvidia comparisonThe 1060 compared to the 970 has fewer CUDA cores, and lower memory bandwidth; but the clock speeds are higher. Uh. I confused. Why does my 970 not match those specs on Nvidia's website? GPU Zotac GeForce® GTX 970 Omega Edition CUDA cores: 1664 Video Memory: 4GB GDDR5 Memory Bus: 256-bit Engine Clock Base: 1152 MHz Boost: 1304 MHz Memory Clock: 7010 MHz Overclocked by default?

A lot of 970s are sold overclocked as standard. Mine was by abut 20% I think, with an extra fan on it.

much obliged! AMD 290 is still good GPU even today, when I had it, it was running DAI much better than GTX 970 (about 15 fps more on R9 290) So I think you should have good experience especially when Frostbite engine likes ''red team'' so much awesome

My specs are: GeForce GTX 750 Ti Intel Core i5-2320 6 GB RAM Windows 7 I'm really sad that I won't get to play this game because I don't meet the minimum requirements. Can't afford to spend hundreds of dollars to upgrade just to get one game, unfortunately. I'm not certain you won't be able to play it at all. My impression is that min specs are a bit conservative these days, and I have played DAI and BF4 on machines that are well below min spec. Let someone else with a similar rig go first and see how he does with it. Also, there are a fair amount of used PCs floating around on Craigslist and whatnot. If you're budget-constrained, look into it.

For the socket type of your board, the only viable upgrade would be to an i7-3770, which I don't think is worth it. Get a new motherboard and upgrade to a good kaby lake Intel processor, like the i5-7500.

I meet the minimum requirement , well not exactly because I have Amd FX 6300 and not 6350.(but those are basically the same) Otherwise I have 8 giga ram and a GTX 760 . I'm not updating anything because I can't be bothered I already upgraded for DAI and Bioware games are the only game I play that requires that type of gaming computer so *shrug* I'll wait for DA4, in case of terrible plastic hair and if barely playable I'll get a refund and play MEA in a couple of years. I also have an FX-6300. Also an R9 280, and 16 GB RAM. I'm hoping I can play this. I can play most games at high (even new games), so I'm hoping I can get medium settings out of this. I know I should upgrade my CPU, but I don't really want to.

Now I'm looking at custom built pcs and thinking. I mean...they're so shiny and new, and I wouldn't have to fiddle in the innards of my current pc (built by same company).
