The 970 is pretty much equivalent to the 1060 mentioned in the recommended specs.

Why do they make 1060s with 3GB VRAM? Also, as a recommended spec it's a bit puzzling; why not a 970/4GB, for instance? (I know about the 3.5GB issue; it's not a big deal; moving on) The 1060 seems to be a little faster than a 970; so is this to say that the game might be a bit heavy on the computation side, but won't eat up too much VRAM due to ... what? shitty textures? Could that 3GB be a typo? Because you don't need more than that if you're gaming at 1080p.... 6GB cards are for 4k

The 970 is pretty much equivalent to the 1060 mentioned in the recommended specs. is the 1060 a little more powerful than 970? Apparently so; I can't test it myself; but on several forums people are saying that the upgrade is almost, though not totally, negligible. Here's nvidia's official comparison page: nvidia comparisonThe 1060 compared to the 970 has fewer CUDA cores, and lower memory bandwidth; but the clock speeds are higher.

Hello! So wanted to check since my hardware is inbetween recommended and minimal...
GTX 970 RAM 8 GB Intel i5 3350-p Directx 12
I'm hoping to run the game on high (would love to do ultra but that might be pushing it), but I'm worried about the processor drastically slowing things down. I have almost a TB for space with an additional SSD so I'm at least good on that. Thank you!

So, my PC is as follows: CPU: Core i5-750 (First gen core i5. This awesome CPU has been in my PC for 7 years and it still rocks today's games at high settings) RAM: 16GB DDR3 (upgraded 3 years ago, went all in since RAM is so cheap) GPU: Radeon 7870 2GB (upgraded to this 3 years ago, was best bang for buck) Not sure how it will perform, but I'm currently playing DA:I at high settings with quite stable 60 fps at 1080p. If it fails, I'll go shopping for a 970 or something cheap, can't waste too much money upgrading this old beast again

16 RAM gb for recommended? And they list no detailed res or FPS specs? <snip> 16 GB is the new standard. Mankind Divided had it as well, and it really needed it too. Plus its not really an issue considering how cheap RAM is these days. I ran Mankind Divided on an 8GB system and it ran fine. Constant 60fps in mission areas. Mission hubs had a few framedrops. This was on a Radeon R9 390 and a core i5 4690K on high settings. The only noticable issue was that load times were long, but I had the game on my standard hard drive instead of my SSD.

I really hope the game works even at medium, if anyone can confirm this for me, thank you! my specs: -Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4460 CPU @ 3.20GHz -Video Card AMD Radeon R9 200 Series -Video Card #2 Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600 -RAM 8.0 GB -Operating System Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate Edition Service Pack 1 (build 7601), 64-bit You need to be more specific about the graphics card. Radeon R9 200 series covers a broad spectrum of cards, ranging from bad to good. There's a big difference, for instance, between a Radeon R9 250 and an R9 290. You could try looking in your Radeon settings to check the exact model. support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/HowtoidentifythemodelofanATIgraphicscard.aspxIf that's also too vague, you can try other programs or open up your PC and have a looksie.

Thank the maker somebody had some input on that 745 of Solas', I was compleletly stumped on such a thing even exisiting. A bit more googling seems to indicate it's an OEM only single slot card performing roughly equal to a 650. So slightly below spec but if it ran DAI ok, it'll probably be ok on a mix of low-medium, I suppose.
Looks like a 750TI would have similar power consumption and is small enough to fit. So that should be a decent upgrade at not much money if you find yourself needing one, Solas. The 1050 or 1050TI could also be options, I know Gigabyte at least have low profile versions of those available.

Good. Can run at normal graphics at 1152x864 resolution. I see no need for that HD.

My specs are:
GeForce GTX 750 Ti Intel Core i5-2320 6 GB RAM Windows 7
I'm really sad that I won't get to play this game because I don't meet the minimum requirements. Can't afford to spend hundreds of dollars to upgrade just to get one game, unfortunately.

AMD 290 is still good GPU even today, when I had it, it was running DAI much better than GTX 970 (about 15 fps more on R9 290) So I think you should have good experience especially when Frostbite engine likes ''red team'' so much

I'm one of those people who know nothing about computers, so I always assumed that the minimum specs were actually the set-in-stone bare minimum needed to run a game. I haven't heard of a trial though. Is that something I can try now?
