I wonder, if they will include a build-in benchmark in ME:A, just like in DA:I?

I wonder, if they will include a build-in benchmark in ME:A, just like in DA:I? I guess it's possible. Though I would think they would have announced something like that when they dropped the benchmarks, Not necessarily though. I think it'd be neat if they did.

Yeah, I'm trying to make up my mind whether to buy it or not:) DAI was actually slighly chuggy with high settings (and a few ultra), but that game could seriously vary from day to day how it ran O.o I upgraded my RAM today, so I'm all good If you keep your 660's, and don't mind, try posting back how it was running for you after release. It's not like the SLI 660's don't have the horsepower, I'm interested if the vram holds them back at all. Sure And even if I do buy a new card, a comparison is always interesting since I will keep my 660s a while to use later in one of my friends computers.

Hey, I think I will be able to play it on High, however I'm having an internal debate if I should get another 8 GB of Ram. CPU: I5 6400 GPU: Sapphire Nitro RX470 8GB RAM: 8 GB DDR4 Harddrive: SSD (Not sure how important) I'm really not sure. I mean I could buy another one for 50 Euro, but if I get a couple of fps more.... that sounds like a waste of money.

I would try for high and mix in some ultra settings The RAM issue is just weird, because we know Battlefield 1 COULD be RAM hungry, but it also has a lot of world destruction mess going on If you notice some chuggy frame rates, then I'd suggest adding some more if possible

They play on Ultra with decent FPS and only 8 GB. Maybe I just wait for the MP, before I make a decision.

Yeah, gonna go ahead and wait for my next paycheck before I get some more ram. 16gb seems to be in the price range of 100 to 150, which sucks, but I've only checked Amazon so far.

You could try and find the same RAM you have right now and just buy more of it. Ether used or from old stock, it will be cheaper.

Either way it goes, I believe that I will simply have to buy two 8gb sticks. My fault, considering I listened to my friend when he said that most games won't use 16gb. I was a bit naive there, hah.

Then again, I built this PC like a week ago, far after Battlefield 1 was released. I probably just should've looked at the recommended for that whilst building my computer. Can't change the past. Really wishin' that Andromeda hurry up and gets here though.

Eh, i personally would wait and see. I mean BF1 required 16 gigs of ram and i never dropped below 60 FPS on all ultra with 8 gigs. Nor i had any other problem while playing for 5 or so hours straight. It's not like RAM would runaway

I'd be extremely surprised if 8 would not be enough, official recommended specs be damned.

I upgraded my system when dxmkd came out to rx480 8gb and 16gb of ram from 8gb of ram and the hd7850 2gb gfx card I had for a few years.
next year i'll prolly upgrade the mobo and cpu from the sabretooth 990fx + fx8350 to one of the new am4 jobs depending on the price what with the current set being years old lol

Here are my specs:
AMD FX 8150 AMD R9 380 4GB 16 GB RAM
Based on what I've been reading, my CPU is somewhere at or below the min, the AMD FX 6350. This kinda confuses me, because it can handle most recent games I've been playing at High @1080p. Mankind Divided, Titanfall 2, Doom, haven't tried Battlefield One though.
Are Frostbite games harder on the CPU or am I reading this wrong? Am I good or should I opt for the PS4 version? (Not wanting to upgrade at the moment, I hope I can go with my PC, cause of the better load times with my SSD)
Thanks!

At 1080p you shouldn't have any issues to at least play on Medium-High I think, with better performance than the PS4. I wouldn't say Frostbite is generally CPU intensive; for example Battlefield 1 runs a lot better for me than DAI on my ancient FX 6300. It really depends on the specific game, and how well the studios manage to optimize their games.

(Not wanting to upgrade at the moment, I hope I can go with my PC, cause of the better load times with my SSD) Thanks! I just hate the way these "System Requirements" are presented as if they were the gospel or something equally relevant. Overall, everyone who plays modern games have an idea of what is necessary to run modern games. MEA System Requirements is not going to change that. In any case, your graphics card is what matters the most, and as long as your CPU is not bottlenecking the graphics card (and it shouldn't, unless the game is extremely poorly optimized like Fallout 4), there is no reason to worry about it. If your CPU is not bottlenecking at all, you could put a 2k dollars CPU in its place and barely see any improvement, since the CPU is not the issue to begin with. Your system is great for modern gaming. MEA is just like any recent triple A title in terms of hardware demand. It might run slightly worse than other modern titles like the ones you mentioned , but that has to do with Bioware and their poor optimization in general. Still, MEA should not run any worse than DAI.
