So, anyone else's Nomad sound like a clunker after the patch? I also get no sound effects from boost or jump anymore. Not sure what the hell happened.

Uh so. I started a NG+, since this patch was suppsoed to make some changes to the first bit of the game.
And well... the part where the Ark arrives in Andromada, and hits the Scourge, when you're on the bridge, the view screen is blank. Which its supposed to show the Scourge and then Habitat 7... and yeaaah... its just a wall of black.

From what I can tell, that happens when you go from a previously loaded save, to a new game(Or NG+). Or rather, that is how I can reproduce the bug pretty consistently anyway.

My history of the game has been this. When it first came out, I encountered a lot of random freezes that would kill the game but not my system. What I thought might be a factor was the release of a major Windows update and two releases of Nvidia drivers, one when the game was pre-released and one when the game was released. That second Nvidia release improved the graphics considerably. With 1.05, the game freezes disappeared only to be replaced by system freezes with various complaints from the system all centered on memory management abuse. This was most troubling. At least now it seems Windows is able to catch these memory errors whereas before it ran the risk of frying your hard disk. With 1.06, I encountered that black screen on start, but figured Bio's authentication system was overwhelmed. Subsequent starts I haven't encountered it. Also, no system freezes yet. However, 1.06 was released again with a major Windows update. One of those things fixed in the update was something about "page memory leaks" which might explain why I was encountering all those memory errors in 1.05. Who knows? One thing that annoys me in all the iterations is that if Windows receives a notification, I get bounced into windowed mode. Of course it all might also have something to do with the recent discovery of earth-like planets in the Trappist system.

Singleplayer Bug (Location: Tempest)
Not sure if its been reported, but I'll still bring it up. This is on Xbox One btw.
I had a full inventory of Pathfinder Rewards (200/200) available to collect. When I chose the "Collect All Materials" option, it cleared the Pathfinder Rewards screened, but when I backed out of the Strike Mission terminal, I was given the Pathfinder Rewards notification, and I can't exit it (A button doesn't seem to function). I tried disconnecting and reconnecting my controller, and while the A button will work when you need to exit the "Controller Disconnected" prompt, it still doesn't work for the "Pathfinder Rewards" prompt. I had to close down my app as, apart from the thumbsticks, I could not use any of the other controller buttons.

Can you tell me about the expected performance of a 560 Ti? I'm running one in my secondary system and would like to use it for MEAMP.

Can you tell me about the expected performance of a 560 Ti? I'm running one in my secondary system and would like to use it for MEAMP. Not pretty. Your card is below the minimum requirements for Andromeda, which is a GTX 660. I had a GTX 950 before I got my new system, and I was getting between 15-25 FPS on average. Some places where nothing was happening were in the 40-50 FPS range, but that was very rare (eg. in a closet).

The 560 Ti is close to a 660.
I'm not looking for Ultra, even lowest details and maybe 80 % resolution scale so I can play MP in my bed.
I have a 1070 in my primary system, but they in 4K there, which drops to 20 with medium-high settings. Most MP maps run with 40 FPS at least. I stopped playing SP completely because of this.

Was hoping to see some performance improvement done for the tempest. Still runs poorly in areas with windows. Talking to suvi still has a big fps drop compared to anywhere else on the ship

Ugh, my graphics card is on the low end of the specs - GTX 760 - though the rest of what I have is actually towards the high end. This is my punishment for being a cheaparse and scrimping on my graphics card when I built my computer. I aimed for the high end for DAI only and didn't think ahead because I wanted to save a bit of money. After the patch the graphics look terrible. They were reasonable beforehand though I was pushing it a bit by running on medium but now they look grainy and blurry. Oh well, I've been looking for an excuse to upgrade my graphics card.

They probably look grainy and blurry because default graphic presets (Low/Medium/High/Ultra) change resolution scaling. I think if you drop to medium, your resolution scaling is set to something like 0.6, which is the reason why everything is blurry. Just set graphic settings to custom and change resolution scaling to 1.0 or 0.9 (don't go lower than that). You can then set rest of the settings to the mix of low/medium and it should look OK.

I've have upgraded version to Deluxe and I don't have new outfit after patch. It that suppose to happen? From what has been said elsewhere, you wont get thwe outfit if you have already opened the chest in your cabin of the Tempest earlier in the game. At present the items only appear when you start a new playthrough. However, Bioware are looking to see if this can be fixed(from a comment in the Twitter thread).

I've have upgraded version to Deluxe and I don't have new outfit after patch. It that suppose to happen? You need to manually claim the outfit from the special requisitions terminal in Ryder's cabin. If you have already redeemed something from the terminal on your current playthrough prior to upgrading, you need to go into the next NG+ or start a new character.

However, 1.06 was released again with a major Windows update. What fixed the page memory leaks? 1.06 update or the latest Windows Update? Any source on that? My game stutters pretty much the same as it did before and the memory usage also seems to be the same. Sorry for the ambiguous reference. Also should have said it seems to have been a virtual memory leak, not RAM. It was a Windows 10 Update: May 9, 2017—KB4019472 (OS Build 14393.1198) support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4019472--> Addressed an issue with a paging file space leak that leads Windows to a crash, blue screen, or data loss.

Has anyone else noticed that Alec Ryder's skin now changes depending on the color you select? If you go with preset 3 and make ryder very dark you can see Alec Ryder's skin changed a bit darker. It isn't perfect match, but it is darker/lighter now depending on what skin color you select.

Is anyone having an issue where you can play fine for 3 -4 hrs but then the game just freezes, audio runs for about 30 seconds and then you have to shut down via the Task Manager?
I had this maybe 4 times in 250hrs of play or thereabouts but in the last 3 days this has happened every afternoon after I have been playing for more than about 2hrs and even after rebooting the PC the game starts fine but within 2 minutes the game freezes again. I thought maybe it was just Voeld as that's where I was when playing yesterday and the day before but after playing fine for over 2hrs this morning on Kadara, shutting down and starting playing again for a couple of hrs BAM it froze again and having tried 4 times I cannot get more than a couple of minutes before it freezes again. Have tried 4 times since the first freeze.
The first one I thought was due to a AV update whilst I was playing but I let that complete and have rebooted 4 times.
The only thing I have noticed is that my RAM which when playing MEA normally sits around 60% is hitting 90% at times. My CPU which normally sits between 40% and 60% is also hitting 80 to 90%.
My GPU is only an OC'd 2GB GTX770 but I have had no regular issues/problems playing with most of the settings on Medium for over 250hrs. I have 8GB of RAM My chips are i7-2600 CPU @3.4 to 3.6Hz (I think there are 8)
Anyone else experience these issues post 1.06?
Does anyone have any suggestions as to cause and a fix?

Okay, so ran a repair and that did nothing.
Watching my RAM when the PC is idle with just the internet open it is sitting on 31%. As soon as I launch MEA it jumps straight to 80% and by the time the game has launched it slowly works its way to 90%. Just using the jump jet spikes it to 93%.
Why would this just start happening in the last couple of days?

Okay, so unknown to me there is an issue with approaching the SOS location on Kadara and that causes a freeze issue and has been logged with EA but still doesn't explain why my RAM is getting hammered. Literally after you hit resume on the main menu it jumps to 80% and then gradually creeps to 90%.
