I'm hoping it is actually like the Citadel in the sense it is a Mass Relay, built to eventually connect the Milky Way and Andromeda. You just blew my mind!!!  Why the heck did I never think of that? It's so simple yet so likely! Part of the Andromeda Initiative's plan is to provide a means of connecting the Milky Way and Andromeda together. Of course the Nexus has to be a Mass Relay! How could it not be? That's incredible! Thanks for sharing! Would it really be a one way trip if they planned to complete construction of a mass relay on arrival that links back to the milky way? As was already stated, one of the major goals of the Ai was always to link Andromeda back to the Milky Way. There isn't necessarily a guarantee of that happening, but the Nexus and the four arks being battery sources seem to heavily suggest it could be a multi-purposed mass relay. I wouldn't necessarily call it "misdirection" because I believe there is more to the Andromeda Initiative than we are aware of. In fact, I really don't believe their mission is to find a new home for the Milky Way races at all. That's likely a cover for something else entirely that may or may not be linked to the unknown Remnant technology in the Helios Cluster. |

No pics, just some text on the Tempest layout from my 1st visit (EA access) the Pathfinders quarter is underneath the bridge centrally. (and it has a cool SpaceX surprise  ) the Galley is to the right side of the Pathfinder quarter, the Crew Quarter to the left. there are ladders, an elevator or ramps to move up and down. the multiple levels, rooms and back end of the ship had me confused a bit. But maybe that's because it was a 3am session after a long day Overall I like the Tempest a lot, a lot of where, what is actually makes sense. |

I explored the ship a little bit and it's really awesome! I did get a little lost though with the different floors, ladders, corridors, and all that.
It's just kinda empty right now without a full squad.

Tempest is awesome. I think my reaction to first seeing the inside was whoa! Seems space is well used and gives it a feeling of being bigger than it is. Plus the views, I can get lost staring in to space.

Just a little disappointed that the interior is clearly larger than the exterior (at least how it is portrayed on Eos). Just no way the briefing table vidcom area fits in that part of the hull. Apparently there is also plating that is transparent on one side but no the other, all those windows by the briefing table are just hull plating on outside.
