What I don't like is hamfisted political commentary in my video games. Like that bit with Iron Bull and the trans. But the worst part was that your character is just a silent bystander who doesn't get to comment. That's just shoving ideology down the helpless player's throat.

So if they try to insert their stupid agenda by making it about "we are the aliens/refugees" or shoehorning us into being peaceful explorers, I'll be disappointed. Give us the choice to be invaders or conquerors and I'll be happy. In the trilogy we had the choice to commit genocide several times, kill our companions, be complete space racists with a 'humanity first!' agenda and finally become a galactic god.

Some people just want everyone to hold hands and sing 'kumbaya' and that's fine. But my favourite scene in Avatar was the destruction of the home tree. That was the cinematic epitome of HFY.

Give me a choice as the player and don't try to shoehorn me into any direction and we're good.
