Anyone know the fix to the "mass effect 3 has stopped working" crash immediately after the start screen checks for downloaded content?
I have followed all the Google ideas, e.g. deleting saves, config files, binaries, repairing the game in origin, and uninstalling/re-installing.
Nothing works. The situation happened after I exited the game after experiencing the too many experience points available glitch. Now can't launch. Tried disabling cloud save in origin also. No help.
Thanks.

Edit: Platform PC, Win10 After starting game, before pressing any key, alt tab back to origin and select go offline. Back into game, press any key. Wait for dlc check, then back to origin and go online. (It's a workaround, not a fix. And not mine, either. No idea who came up with it  ) |

Just start the game in offline mode. Set origin to offline, start game, at main menu turn origin into online mode

Your google was broken, you must have used bing or something. ![]()  It's the Retaliation Glitch, and I have it too right now. If only deleting all your friends worked, I would do it. We need to offer a cash bounty for a 3rd party patch to kill the achievement crap in the main menu. |

Playing ME:A-MP instead. No honestly, I think I've read somewhere that it may go away on its own - probably after a BW server reset or something like that, dunno. You might need to Alt+F4 out of MP to avoid the crash after playing, I think. |

Something related to your challenge scores/friend scores causes an uncaught error TK happen. Like division by 0. When retaliation loads it reads the data, and then the game dies. If you start offline the dlc doesn't startup with that info.

Still got the damm bug.
I have almost 5000 hours playing ME3MP, and this is the first time I've had it. No mods, ever, on my end. Guess I'll just have to keep using the the workaround until Andromeda...
