Is anyone really surprised?

I am shocked and appalled.

I'm going to say that N7 day or at the video games awards.  Even though, I'm not even sure exactly when they are.  Most likely, the video game awards, because that'll have the most bang for the buck.

Imagine you had two big games, and a third massive game filled with ravenous obsessed fan people.  You'd want to get the two games out of the way, then let all the little fan people come in and gossip about the third game.  Kind'a like when somebody popular (at the time) opens up for Justin Bieber.

Well, that's what it's like for TF2, BF1, and finally ME:A.  They wanna clear the way, then let us all talk about ME:A.  I know it sucks, but.

If BioWare's using a variation of Bethseda's marketing plan, what should be expect? (i wouldn't know since i've little interest in the Fallout games)

Ohhh, that's no good. Guess i better breakout the egg nog recipes so my egg nog will be smashingly tasty and boozy once the news finally hits.

BW's Convention Schedule this fall states:

- PAX West, September 2 – 5

- Edmonton Expo, September 23 – 25

Are these two venues significant?   I'm just curious.

Given EAs clear and present need to market their sports games this Fall, I wouldn't expect to see ME:A anywhere (such as another trailer), as it could suck the air out of the available room in the next 3-4 months.

What is most pressing for Andromeda, in my 'unbiased' view, is not a convention appearance. BW/Titan Books need to release the prequel novel asap, and in high numbers for availability, if only to demonstrate they are keeping close to their published August release date. If the book is delayed until November, I won't mind, but it's the GLARING SILENCE right now from BW, about the prequel's actual release date, that adds further scrutiny BW's messaging and internal problems. Yet - not unexpected for an overly ambitious project. Given the delay with Andromeda, I suspect story changes earlier this year caused writing changes for the novel - thus, a delayed book release; just guessing. But a book delay is no excuse for BW not telling us about it openly. I'm disappointed with the poor messaging from BW, but not surprised anymore. I'm looking forward to the prequel and the game with immense interest.
