Considering Mass Effect: Andromeda's stunning visuals seen thus far, I can't help but hope that a Photo Mode (accessed from pause menu) will be included to make some awesome screen shots. I know Horizon Zero Dawn has only been out a day, but after using the photo mode and creating my own screen shots instantly, I really want to be able do something like the examples below in Mass Effect (and in 4k HDR). The stickers, philters, and frames would all be a nice touch as well. These screenshots were taken in game. The first photo has no filter; just has the borders and the title sticker that you can do in Photo mode.     |

Mass Effect Andromeda will be supporting Ansel on PC. Of course, if you aren't a PC gamer, you are probably SOL. I doubt there is any kind of functionality such as this in the base game.

They are using NVIDIA's Ansel, which is of course NVIDIA-Only, there's always the "Print Screen" key on the keyboard lol. yeah there's also programs like fraps as well if we want it. I'll use it to post some of my Ryder's maybe now and then once the game's out but I'm not going to worry too much about it atm. |

You can also upload any videos and photos from a PS4 and XB1 to various social media sites like: Youtube, Facebook, Twitch, and maybe Twitter. So yeah console players are pretty good to go on that front. |

Photo mode isn't simply taking screenshots. It's more or less a photo shop app for games. You can change filters. You can adjust settings. It offers a wide variety of features for you to enhance images in the game. As I said, it's not a common feature in most games. MEA is unlikely to have it simply because BioWare has never shown an interest in something like that. Again, Nvidia Ansel will probably be the closest thing that MEA will have to a photo mode. |

It would be nice to have a photo mode like that in Andromeda, but I expect console players will have to make due with the share button/whatever it's called on the Xbone. |

Yes yes oh god yes. I mean, Im going to use Ansel as well as normal screenshots anyway to make a sorta visual journal (would people even be interested in seeing that?) of my Ryders journey through the game but it would be nice if console players had access to a photo mode too.

This would be fantastic!
I used to play a game called firefall and while you were in game you could press F9 and it would record as your playing and you'd press F9 again to stop it.
You could then go into the file and open up the replay and you could follow your or other players depending on how far away they were or free roam to a certain degree get some great character shots or even environment shots as well as create videos. It was a great feature one that I very much enjoyed using and creating with I would love to see the same or similar feature in Mass Effect Andromeda.

This simply allows you to pause the game in the options then take control of the camera angle, zoom, filter, borders, stickers, eliminate the HUD, etc. I'll def use the screen shot feature, but this photo mode would nice to have as an in game asset for both Consoles and PC. |

Anyone who's played either the Uncharted Collection or better yet Uncharted 4 knows what I'm talking about... The photomode is sooooo much fun! And with all the various options, it's easy to edit your screenshots to make them look even better.
