You might remember my original nudity thread a few days ago. People overwhelmingly voted that you could avoid the nudity if you did not do the romances. This is a more specific version of that thread. The question is, if they can have nudity in the romances, why can they not have it outside of it? They have no reason not to.

The question you should be asking is what qualitative value would this add to the experience? The Witcher 3 makes sense given the dark, gritty, and pessimistic medieval fantasy setting that it tries to encapsulate in its world. Mass Effect isn't like that at all, especially with Andromeda being far more optimistic with a focus on exploration.
Other than in romances, where it at least makes sense, I just don't see how gratuity at a bar is really necessary. I'm more interested in the cultural differences a bar would have in Andromeda versus the Milky Way. This is, of course, assuming the Angara or the Khet even have social functions, such as bars, to begin with.

To be perfectly frank, if this game were truly intended for mature audiences, any sexual based content shy of porn (unless overdone and just for the effect) wouldn't bother me. Game of Thrones stepped firmly on the line of "overdone and just for effect," in my opinion. Not quite enough to make me turn the thing off, but just enough to go "Did we REALLY need a voyeuring on a voyeur scene?" Now that my personal bar has been set, I will say that I very much doubt ME:A will go that far, not even close, and I'm very much ok with that too. I honestly think that any blatant nudity will be gated behind romances, although it wouldn't shock me if we got some sorta "doesn't show but suggests" kinda nudity in some backworld strip bar or something.
