Totally unplayable for me, I keep getting booted mid-match and I almost never had issues with ME3 MP. Where are you playing from? Im in New Zealand and it totally unplayable, managed one complete game all day. Most of the time game about to start and receive a loss of connection message, or will get to the match and at sometime will be taken back to screen.

I have to say on my end when you hosted it went really well up until wave 6 (just a couple dead enemies still moving around but nothing bad). At w6 I started lagging more, had more teleporting enemies and myself. And then of course it just went all kaput after that game.

My two gaming buddies and I, all on the US east coast, had three games in a row last night all of which ended in one or more of us getting disconnected during a match and losing all of our consumables. We even tried mixing up who was hosting between each match, and all that did was give us varying amounts of lag prior to the disconnect. I was so frustrated with the state of the connectivity, that I actually went and started a SP campaign. That's right, the MP is so bad it's driving me to the SP.

Am i too quick to judge, but after 2 games played multi in Andromeda seems to be utter trash? Instead of getting soaked in by it, i dont even want to play one more game. Not now, not tomorrow. Hopefully the single is better.

When 3 of the 4 people are "ready" a 10 second timer should begin. How is that not included?
Would be nice to be able to inspect skill trees. Inspect individual and have a UI that shows equipment and skill choices.
"Y" inspects team until you go down to the team and then "Y" is used to vote to kick and "A" inspects. Did they have two guys designing the multiplayer UI with zero communication?
Challenges not updating. I have zero tech explosions and yet I have a level 17 engineer, and level 9 Engineer. Only 75 biotic detonations with a level 15 Asari Adept. Somehow 0 extractions. Tutorial completion not tracking. Etc. Etc. Oh but I do have Gold APEX rating.
Reload cancel is gone. Unless you have a system that remembers which part of the reload sequence you are in this is really shitty. Either that or reload while sprinting and/or dodging. I could not reload my Widow for 30 seconds yesterday because of the aggressive nature of the game. As fun as that normally is, not being able to complete a reload for 30 seconds is an eternity. Something needs to change here because attempting a reload animation a dozen times is not fun.
Upload wave sucks. The interruption part should be on the Hack wave, not the Upload wave. Way too difficult to gold.
Enemy Spawns on objective waves should not be able to happen within the objective location or directly adjacent to. An objective should disable all adjacent spawns and spawn a second before enemies to ensure they don't spawn on top of it. If a HYDRA spawns on the third disable wave that is understandable, still shitty. But if 2 HYDRAs and 2 Krogans and a whole suite of enemies spawns on top of the first objective that is a big "Fuck You" from the game.

I think the biggest issue is the restriction of character skill points to RNG unlocks. For anybody that doesn't know, you can only get to about ME3's level 16 by leveling up alone, and the rest of the skill points have to come through RNG character card unlocks. If we can assume that most classes are relatively balanced when compared at the highest level (20-X), then that means rarer classes will be gimped compared to common classes for a loooong time. Your level X human infiltrator will be better than a level 1 Angarian avenger. And getting your AA up to X will probably take 100s of hours or 100s of dollars.
The devs have said that this change was made to more closely align character progression with weapon progression (translation - make them both RNG based). The problem with this is that rarer weapons are MUCH better. Black widow 1 is better than viper X. But that isn't necessarily true for character classes. I played ME3 MP a good amount, but I never got a UR or rarer higher than a 4. If character classes were like that, then I never would have been viable in Gold or Plat with a rarer character! And it makes it doubly as frustrating - you have to hope for the gun you want AND the character that you want. I think there is a good chance that this will hurt player retention.

I would have been happy if they had just used 3 multiplayer but with new enemies, some new maps and some new characters. Would have enjoyed starting that with all new equipment etc.
When you were hit by a ravanger or picked up by a banchee you really knew about it. That kind of excitment just not there now in the new game

Its a ton of fun. Really enjoying it. Here are some changes/feedback I'd make.
Disconnects. This is really out of hand. It's borderline game breaking. It's especially crippling to be going through harder difficulties with a team of friends, and one gets disconnected.. because help isn't on the way. A good, solid challenge is now a borderline unmanageable shit storm. Please, PLEASE get this under control. It's not our internet either.. it's on your end, because it's happening to everyone.
Character leveling: This simply takes way, way too long. It takes a grindy environment and makes it even more grindy. Character advancement should realistically sped up by about 20% IMO. You end up getting put in the awful predicament of: Do I keep playing my 1-2 high level characters to earn credits and advance my manifest, or do I play my low level characters on lower difficulty to get them a few skill points PER GAME. Playing low level characters on high difficulty gets you kicked, or you become an anchor to your team.. causing uneeded difficulty on wave 6/extraction, potentially costing others credits.. which is not cool.
The flying Remnant, the shielded one with the laser (forget the name) feels a bit overpowered IMO, especially if it gets over the top of you on an open map. It's especially punishing if you're using a close range weapon.

Has anyone gotten the Salarian Operator yet? I am curious to see what people's thoughts are on him, and whether or not they feel he is a viable character to use on higher difficulties.
Also, how good it the Invasion power on Multiplayer?

Been playing a few hours of non-stop multiplayer on my friend's Xbone...
No lag, but two crashes to desktop and a complete freeze.
Aside from that it's fun, but either I'm way too used to ME3MP, or I still have to get used to the new stuff.
It's like I'm missing cues.
I was playing the Asari adept, who has Annihilation (Field), Throw and Lance. It's just weird. When you walk around with Annihilation on, there's simply this huge blue disc under your feet all the time. It doesn't seem as cool and organic as in ME3. Then when enemies get inside the field, I can't tell if they're primed by looking at them, all I can see is that they're standing on the blue disc. There seems to be no accompanying effect on the actual enemies like in ME3. Or if there is, it's too subtle because I didn't notice it. This is especially uncool when you're doing a hack objective, because you'll be standing in yet another circle of coloured light which makes it almost impossible to see the Annihilation Field, and with no obvious signs of whether an enemy is primed, it becomes a guessing game. And then when you Throw them, or Lance them, yeah it has an effect, but I can't really tell whether they're being detonated because the audiovisual clues feel very understated to me. I really miss the unmistakable awesomeness of the ME3 biotic detonation. Also, I can't really tell when I lost my shields, there's no shattering. I just hear my character saying he's lost his shields, but AFAIK it could just as well be a teammate's character saying that.
I have no definitive opinion on the verticality and the jetpacks yet. It's cool, but hectic. Takes some getting used to.
All in all I was having fun, but I'm still warming up to it.
I feel like levelling up a character takes forever, and who knew bronze games could be so hard? Although, with a low level character and shitty commons for weapons, yeah.I guess ME3 was similar.

Keeps DC-ng every time I get into a match now or in the middle of it; game will even freeze in the main menu. Totally unplayable now. ME3 MP is stable, I hardly get a single crash / dc with it. You done FIU Bioware.

my first impressions so far: - thankfully "only" one crash to desktop so far but the stability issues others mentioned should definitely be looked at ASAP - leveling takes a little too long imo - NO sound when reviving someone - too few (significant) sounds in general - The UI is questionable at best - not really simple/intuitive like ME3MP - no STASIS (almost cancelled my pre-order ) - no ARC PISTOL (see Stasis) + fast paced and fun imo + female Novaguard finally without the screaming-moaning-Monica-Seles-noises - THANK YOU! + APEX app (really starting to like it)

My first impression is that the MP is pretty fun. Had trouble at first getting used to it but it's getting better as I learn things about it. Still have a little trouble with the controls but hopefully my fingers will develop some memory as I keep playing. It has it's bugs and quirks still but hopefully they will get mostly ironed out as time goes on. Hopefully. I haven't experienced any major lag as of yet, well not anything I'm not used to. So far pretty much what I experienced on ME3. I've gotten the CTD a few times and a disconnect or two as well though. Would like this to get fixed as it can be really annoying about mid match or close to extraction. Either way I'm still having fun so it was worth getting for me at least.

the MP seems like fun but every now and then the same things happen and there all mostly related to lag, the sodding insta gib ascendant has to be the worst since wave 6 every game I play I get it teleport to me and insta killed except for when I host (I swear it must love vanguards, I don't even see the damn thing coming and it teleports through walls to get me)
I don't like hosting because when everyone's home there thrashing the connection without me abusing others like that .....

I'm unsure if it's tied to the gladiator patch that was released, but last night I found that my disconnect and crash rate skyrocketed. I had at least 5 different instances of sudden disconnect or crash events last night, all on different hosts. I lost tons of consumables and time as most of the disconnects happened on Silver, waves 4-6. Anyone else notice a similar spike in disconnects yesterday?

Playing krogan enginer right now and for whatever reason holded (charged) overload is priming for combos, while it must be only detonator. Maybe its because of incinerate 6a upgrade? But i can prime with overload then boom with incinerate and target will stii be primed 'cause of flame dot. Very strange
