I'm unsure if it's tied to the gladiator patch that was released, but last night I found that my disconnect and crash rate skyrocketed. I had at least 5 different instances of sudden disconnect or crash events last night, all on different hosts. I lost tons of consumables and time as most of the disconnects happened on Silver, waves 4-6. Anyone else notice a similar spike in disconnects yesterday? Is your internet provider Verizon and do you live in the north east?

Yep experienced quite a few yesterday, where as during the trial and the days since release had only seen like 1.Yea, it shocking now compared to the trial.

I never have disconnects (except host migration) but otherwise have lag always.
I played ONE lag free MEA round in my life so far with a German guy. But I don't think its related to the distance. I often hosted ME3 for American friends and they never encountered any lag, over 20000 KM.

I just wish they would do something for the matchmaking. If I leave 6 times in a row from a gold lobby filled with 3 lvl 1 guys w apex under 100 it should be an indicator that I dont wanna join that lobby. Also why cant I search non apex mission lobbies?
I never had this with me3. You searched, dropped into a shitty looking lobby, leave, search again and most of the time it was different lobby.

Is there a way to see the actual cooldown times of my powers? No matter how i equip guns, i see the same cooldown numbers by my powers. Quite frustrating.

Am I the only one who finds that the objectives and extraction zone little symbols are really hard to see in game??? I think they should be easy to notice but I find myself generally overlooking them for a short while, no idea why in ME3MP I found the little symbols for objectives and the like easy to see but in MEA not so much for whatever reason haha

I'm loving the multiplayer and really having a lot of fun. It's very fast paced, bordering on faster than FTL speed, and incredibly powerful. The graphics and maps are great with an interesting new verticality to them. I love the drastically reduced match loading time. I love they dropped the waves from 10 to 7. It plays very fair, with a few exceptions. I find it odd that a lvl 1 dhan shotgun (single weapon loadout) gives the same encumbrance penalty as a charger machine gun (ahem - pistol). I miss warp rounds. There seems to be a bit difficulty gap (IMO) amongst the factions; Kett being most challenging by some distance. The Lance ability could perhaps use a bit more aim assist, but my biggest piece of critical feedback has to be matchmaking (ps4 for those scoring at home). If I am playing with just 1 other friend, wait time to fill the remaining 2 lobby slots is excruciatingly long. The fact I have to 'bait and switch' and throw on an apex mission and flip it when squadmates join to go random map/enemy is a little sinister and unbecoming, but I've yet to find a better solution. Those things aside - I love it.

I'm enjoying it overall, but I can do without the jetpack feature. After hearing the feedback about most weapons being underwhelming I most likely won't be pursuing a max manifest. But I'll definitely play until I unlock all the characters and get them to level 20.

It takes some getting used to, especially when the objective is on a higher or lower level than the one you're currently on.

I don't understand a lot of bad decisions of design in MP. Removing the over cover grab and the way that cloak works now. I don't know yet because I didn't reach level 20, but, all the powers are so week! Those things that are the most annoying for me so far.

Invisible means invisible, unlike before and regaining health when in cloak is a massive boon

I dont think I like the multiplayer... not 100% sure, but I dont think I do. I might give it a complete skip for a few months and see if theyll change things, but I dont think its for me at the moment i think my first impression was better than how I feel after playing it for a while, and it isnt even because of bugs or lag or anything so much as the design of the whole thing Most of my thoughts I already mentioned in the structured feedback thread, so I wont repeat myself, but I dont find it fun... I think the maximum amount of games I can have without needing a break is 2 or 3, after that I need to stop playing entirely for quite a while, to calm down and recharge I guess, I think the combat has ruined the multiplayer for me haha

Like it so far, only on Bronze but trying out every class to level 10 first.. so far i seem to be pretty handy with the Adept..
Few grievances, similar to DA:I issues few years ago..
People with Potato Internet, not sure if it's them or Bioware but never have issue when I'm host..
People in public lobby colouring armour or browsing menus.. Really? If you're in the waiting lobby be ready, don't leave others hanging! If you need to paint your gear bright pink just do it in your personal lobby.
Disconnects, last night was bad, it's a pain to lose consumables but they're cheap, it's more the progress which is annoying, DC in wave 6 or 7 especially..
Higher tier packs could do with dropping multiple health kits, basic drops a x1 health pack, Premium also drops the same x1 kit, why not increase the consumable items with increasing tiers?
Overall enjoying MP far more than SP, look forward to how this will develop, hope it'll be great.

Seeing as I just died in my first round of multiplayer because I couldn't use my equipment due to the fact that duplicate keybinds get removed, multiplayer keybinds should be separated from single players.
I remapped the favorites keys to 1-4 since I have an MMO mouse and there's no reason for me to have them mapped to the top of my keyboard where my fingers have to leave WSAD--and I'd have to look at the keyboard, but that's another matter entirely--and 30 hours into single player without touching strike team multiplayer stuff, I went into my first match not knowing that my keybinds were removed for multiplayer items.
Team died, I was solo with a level 1 character with underpowered weapons, and of course I died because I couldn't spam healing items or the RPG. And of course, I can't address this in the menu because keybinding them to functions just removes my single player stuff. I have 19 buttons on my mouse, and damn near everything but scan, movement, and interact is on my mouse.
There should be a way to change multiplayer keybinds without altering single player keybinds so I can map equipment to 4-7 without changing my favorites.

I would like to see more maps that is also more geared towards sniping 5 maps is just to low.
Bring back Geth in particular GI, GE, Juggy i know about the ending in ME3 and yet some links actually tell us there may be room for a return of the Quarians and thus Geth read about settlements and geth towers found in Andromeda. Right now MP feels empty without my favourite class the Geth and i consider them classic. Bioware realize very well there is a fanbase around Geth, Quarians and other races not listed in the game as of yet. But did gave the fans of Salarians, Asari, Crogan, Turian a good time....lucky them.
An enemy faction (human in nature) that is tactical in nature just like Cerberus was and i loved fighting Cerberus it was a professional group of soldiers i miss that in MEA MP we had regular soldiers and elite soldiers Dragoons and Phantoms. It would be great to see a form of "Cerberus clone" enemy faction and not a band of renegades but professional army with solid tactics, snipers, storm troopers, heavy units and deadly sync kill elite troopers.
Maybe add new maps with natural surroundings ie fighting in forest, mountains?
A Platinum mode and even a diamond mode later on for the hardcore players hopefully not a Boss party this is just artificial difficulty but actual a boost in the A.I. of the enemy.
And for God sake bring back "reload cancel" it takes ages to reload in this game such a PITA!

Gameplay is a blast. Love it.
Do I think balance changes would make it better? Yep.
I think it is more "fun" than ME3.

To me, the biggest issue at the moment is the client experience.
Enemies dart around, rapidly changing direction and dodge gunfire then teleport over cover or up ledges. The "dog" enemies will teleport to you, and hit you even when you evade with significant room to spare (apparently the host determines whether you get hit, which is horrible). Then clients will randomly drop 'device' objectives while trying to complete them, making them take much longer. I know half the blame is people with potato-net accepting host, but seeing ping and connection quality would do wonders for choosing a lobby so you don't experience 15-20 minutes of frustration.
The gun imbalance is a big deal, but it's hard to even know how to change accuracy, recoil, and damage when the game plays so wonky. The climbing mechanic is can be spotty too.

There seriously needs to be a damage immunity for people arriving late to a game without a full group... I have survived maybe 10% of the encounters I have when spawning into an in progress game. You're probably worried people will take advantage of this but that is just a small player base. It really defeats the purpose of having reinforcements for a team and have that player DOA immediately.

Actually got through a gold match with randos, and I was still using common junk. The match went surprisingly well, it was the Remnant, will have to see how the other play. But I was expecting a lot worse.
