MEA Gameplay Series: Exploration & Discovery Video - Part 3

I wonder if by "puzzles" they mean you actually have to use your brain for a change or if they do something à la Skyrim (three symbols on a dragon claw and three symbols on the respective door, hmm...). It would be even worse when they count hopping from platform to platform as puzzles.

I can see why they tend to underestimate the intelligence of the average player given the quality of youtube comments and the like, but it can't be so bad to expect at least a little thinking, even in this type of game. please, Bioware?

I'm saving myself from watching the first 13 minutes video. To anyone who has seen it, has the animation improved for conversations? Seemed to be a sticking point for quite a few of the previews.

The Tempest really does look absolutely stunning... all those windows are probably the stupidest thing possible on a spaceship but man does it make it look so pretty. Loving seeing where we are through all that glass.

Beyond that the mechanic behind exploration looks like it could be potentially deep, which is great and the idea of vaults that consist of 'puzzles' that actually require you to use your brain would be fantastic (though a little Destiny it has to be said!).

Handful: A small, undefined number or quantity.

I never expected more than 12 worlds to land.  I just hope that the content inside them is nice and all of them are pretty like this one they showed in the exploration video.

Yeah, Mac's distinction between all those worlds to discover but a handful to land on really stood out, but honestly, I'd prefer 6 fully fleshed out worlds to sixteen devoid of interesting story.

True: but think about it, it makes sense in Mass Effect to do this stuff - in DA:I it felt tacked on.

Exploration and colonization are perfect together as a game mechanic - the sense of progression will be great fun, where as in Inquisition it felt a bit off IMO.

Million dollar (rhetorical) question: how many perks can we unlock? All of them or a limited number like DAI?
