I hate to burst your bubble, but heterosexual men are represented more in Video games than any other group! I really don't get where your going with this nonsense.

That's not 'Shakespeare' who says that, but one of his characters (Sir Toby) in Twelfth Night.
It's like people quoting 'Shakespeare' as saying "kill all the lawyers" -- no, that's a line from someone in Jack Cade's riotous mob, in 2 Henry VI "put money in thy purse" -- no, that's Iago in Othello, one of the Bard's most evil villains
but here's an authentic quote from Shakespeare: "WTF is thy point?"
Yes, indeed. I hear your anger. I would be angry, too. If I had gone unrepresented for so long.
But, it's the pendulum swing that I find worrying.
You worry that other groups will be represented more and more, at the expence of others? Hmm.....I can see why that might worry you. BUT, as a mostly hetrosexual Female.....I could complain that my fellow Hetro Women aren't represented enough. How many game out there, actually include playable Females? Or that are geared toward BOTH Sexes rather than just Men? Not many. But hey, I'm not going to complain about it because I honestly don't care.

Don't worry, the pendulum is still a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong way from the middle.
Indeed it is. In games in general. But I'm talking here specifically about Bioware. I'm a long-tine superfan, and I'm going to miss the romance. Nothing in DA:I or, so far, ME:A is appealing.

If I throw around quotes, I'll sound good too!
I see now that it is not the circumstances in which you are born which define you, it is what you do with the gift of life. - Mewtwo The more wonderful the meeting, the sadder the parting - Looker, Stark Mountain
No, I'm just being facetious.
I totally think this is a bait thread, a new account solely dedicated to starting this thread? But I'll take the bait. Gay guys didn't really have great options in any of the prior games. Straight females got more f/f than m/f and ALL orientations got less romance options (at least in Mass Effect) than heterosexual males. However, I as a heterosexual female can care less. I understand that Bioware has to do what they have to do to sell their product, and if that means appealing to xyz group more than another, then so be it. The more recent movement to more inclusivity has indeed taken away from the presumed original demographic, but in retrospect, it's considerably more fair than before. I love it when everyone is represented equally. I hope that Bioware continues to strive to do that.
Kaidan, Cullen, and Alistair... I think I have a type.
So, you don't like the Li options for the Hetero males? Maybe that means that you are secretly gay or bi? Or you just have a bad taste in female Li? Just some thoughts for you.
I'm straight and I have no problem with the old or the new Li options that we have seen so far. All that is to be seen is how their personality is.
And next time, make your troll threads less obvious. But +1 for the title.

Imagine that, they're also represented more in real life.

There's a new puritanism about Bioware that is disheartening.
Consider "Twelve Night":
At one extreme, vulgar dissipation.
At the other, prudish self-righteousness.
We need to find a middle way.
We all deserve to our fantasies validated.
That includes heterosexual men.
Dorian, Cullen, and Cremisius were by far the most attractive characters in Dragon Age Inquisition. And the most interesting.
I honestly wished I were gay.
Being gay wouldn't help with Cullen, of course. Don't know about Krem.
You seem to have a very weird assumption baked into this post, but I shouldn't really guess at it. Exactly what do you figure the design principle was behind Cassandra and Josie? I suppose we should include Sera and Vivienne too if we're going to include Mr. Aclassi.

Touché. Which surely invalidates the OP's point, even more.
If you honestly wish to be a gay, go for it! It's a video game, you can be whatever you wanna RP!
Only since when is Cullen an option for a male PC? I thought he only did human & elven babes, and that reluctantly? Guys, Dwarves and Qunari need not apply? How's being gay help with that? OP wants to be an elven woman? Then Dorian will pass. (DA2 style unlock is the only way to have Cullen and Dorian both return PC's affections).
We already have a "by the way, I am a straight woman, and it's real important, but ye poor fellow guy-gamers, Cora looks soooo ugly, she needs better hair." thread today. You want to go there and commissariat or something? Is that about Cora's absence of long flowing locks again? Pls, amalgamate those.
Speaking as a gay guy, I hated the Dorian romance. It's just a preference as I like my guys to be more...masculine.
The only gay romance I found fulfilling is Zevran in Origins and Kaidan in ME3.
What about DA2?
Anders is not hot. Fenris is...okay. I romanced Sebastian as a femHawke. It was lackluster. I wish there were a way to corrupt that pretty boy. Like get him drunk, etc. Even as maleHawke.

I hope someone makes a mod where she has Rapunzel hair and elaborate dresses with those huge 18th Century skirts that cover half of the room. And then she gets into all kinds of trouble, like her hair getting stuck in a door, or party members tripping over her huge skirt.

Sounds good, but I think it's the bathing suit "most straight men" are after. Actually, Lady Godiva style should be a stretch goal to get most encompassing fantasies validation of pure straightness. Chop, chop, BioWare, ''tis a valid concern.
