Between Drack and Wrex who you say is the bigger alpha? I'd give that one to Wrex! I'd give it to him even if Drak were better in combat which is doubtful - why? No biotics (Wrex is a Krogan Battlemaster! One of the elite few among the Krogan who have biotics (and he brags about being able to fight an Asari Commando/Huntress with his biotics etc. so he's a damned good biotic, probably because his superior Krogan body which can sustain more damage and can fuel biotics for a longer time than anybody else, except an Asari, can!)) and if age counts for something: Wrex is younger (not that I think it does among Krogan or Asari - in fact age makes them even tougher in most cases because they learn a thing or two in their long lives (even the ones not really interested in combat, hell Matriarch Aethyta says she has no commando training but threatens Shepard anyway (despite probably being quite evenly matched - specialized combat (and maybe even biotic) training against the experience gained in nearly a thousand years!), especially the Krogan (I'd say every Krogan has combat training, they are kind of more primitive (prone to rage etc.) Turians that way!) Now: Why would I give it to Wrex? Because he starts looking out of his people, he god damned returned to a radio active wasteland (Tuchanka) to re-unite the Krogan clans (despite his dislike for politics and for most other Krogan who he thinks are just simple minded good for nothing assholes (in most cases, hell he even hates his own brother!) who can't think of the future and are just glory hounds and guns for hire! I mean he's a mercenary, too but only because he had to leave after killing his father!) Drak on the other hand is much older but he doesn't seem to care about his people much, he's kind of the stereotypical warlord (he's damnde good at what he does of course, otherwise he would have died a long time ago!)...at least it seems that way (we really don't know, maybe he is leading the Krogan willing to join him to Andromeda (if he is one of the leaders, I mean his clan is fairly small as far as we know!) in order to help them out (just like Wrex is trying to do in Milkyway!)?) So yeah, I'd stick with Wrex greetings LAX ps: Sadly we don't know if the Krogan will now have more biotics with their birthrate up (I'd say healing the Genophage is more or less canon as everything else is just a dick move!), I mean they developped a procedure to make normal Krogan into biotics (!) - the catch? A low survival rate (even among the hardy Krogan, so not something other races should attempt! Hope Cerberus hasn't tried that somewhere (not that I am against trying to find something like that, I mean the Protheans made a species of natural biotics for fucks sake (note: Another question: Are all Protheans biotics? Did this as an edit, so it's the second question, despite being above the other question!), so it's possible (!)) pps: If normal people can get Eezo poisoning - what about biotics? Can they eat Asari food without having to worry about it maybe containing some Eezo? (I would say so as Eezo is part of their body chemistry already!)...sorry, just a question I had and with biotics comming up in my posting I think asking does not hurt!

If alpha means dumb moron then I guess we'll have to wait and see, Drack will have to be pretty stupid to take the prize from Wrex.

Wrex.
Grunt hasn't proven himself over Wrex and even if Drack is better at fighting things, that does not fully equate to alpha.
There are other bro-tastic designations to give Drack, and none of this necessarily means Drack is a bad character.
'Alpha' implies affinity for leadership, dominance, and inspiration - not just destruction.
There isn't even indication he was a warlord. He was a soldier, merc, pirate. And the fixation so far is on shooting and killing things. Sure, most krogan adore that, but there's always been something else in Wrex and Grunt.
There may be twists to his character, but otherwise the face of things shows a more generic krogan in terms of interests and station - except for his age and possible relative affinity for destructive weapon technologies and hunting prey.
So far, he's just here for us to use as our fantastic meatshield. In that, he may be more than either Wrex or Grunt. There for the overall krogan-lovers (like a friend of mine - she just loves 'krogan', no matter the krogan).
Bakara ('Eve') is potentially most alpha krogan in the future of some ME3 endings, if we imagine Wrex letting up and sharing or even surrendering some reigns, and Eve taking some more power. Frankly you're huge in 'alpha points' for even ruling a combined 'nation' of krogan for any duration. But Bakara is not a squadmate.

If Drack's characterization is "alpha" red pill bullshit, then I'm kicking him out permanently and pretending he doesn't exist. Life is too short to tolerate annoying pricks.

Traditionally, alpha should simply mean strong, charismatic personality with knack for leadership... ...but it's getting misused these days so much I just think of stupid pissing contests and muscleheaded idiots when I hear it (much like some of the op's threads to be honest )
