Based on the first 15 minutes...

My first player is closest to a heroic reflection of myself.

So sure, yes I will have 'daddy issues'. Even if I kinda don't want to.

My mother is mentally ill and has been out of my life for a decade. I like her, but it is difficult to conceive having a connection to her. This may or may not be reflected in what MEA offers. I was raised by my aunt, someone I have a connection to, but not a lot of affinity.

My father is unknown. He could be a good person. He could be a bad person. I'm okay with the idea that he is bad and that I'd reject him. I'm hopeful with the idea that he is good and that I'd embrace him. Or anywhere in-between. I was raised by my uncle, someone I have a connection to, but not a lot of affinity.

I really think this can be reflected in MEA, where my Ryder can try to be understanding of what Alec is doing, but also isn't a sycophant to his whims. I'd probably play around what may be a 'baseline' of the Scott-Alec relationship (aka troubled but close?).

In the start, I'll try to be friendly and understanding of his motivations. If it comes down to me cutting ties (example: he's an antagonist and we can reject him), I'm totally cool with that.

I'll pick "He cares in his own way" and call him sir. I understand my station in this initiative, and I think there's some positivity in their relationship prior to MEA.

But I'll also drop him like he's a hot stone if he betrays things I believe in. Again, I'm obviously not close to a father-figure - I only love the idea of it .
