N7 associates Shepard with humanity, and allows him to double down on that. Spectre associates Shepard with the galactic community, allows Shepard to explore that. In terms of RP. We can then take kinder or harsher approaches to either (the Sarenesque Spectre, the Alliance hero). to OP: Probably not. I wasn't a huge fan of N7 armor in the trilogy (red/black felt right, but not exactly the N7 shape and symbol), and I will consider my Ryder rather different than any ties to anything N7. Maybe alternate Ryders, of course. I understand. Still doesn't change the fact the N7 was horribly underused in the original trilogy. Fair enough. I'm going all out N7 if they let us!!! Also I've been increasingly considering MEA to be a chance for Bioware to explore a lot of Milky Way lore (albeit with much of it optional or without direct connections), while not having a requirement of actually having to design the locations and major gameplay sections having to do with that lore. We may very well get more N7 story than ever before, and more options to affiliate with it, even if in more optional and perhaps relatively symbolic ways. There may be intriguing reveals, or maybe not. I'd love to see a deeper look at the N7 Program. Heck, it would be awesome if Ryder even has the option to join it! We'll know in 10 days one way or the other! What's the scarf collar for? Isn't it already warm inside the armor Extra insulation? Multi-purpose tissue? It looks cool? |

I am going to wear the Ai version of the armor. It looks so cool, like a mixture between an astronaut and ME:1 hardsuits. But I don't want the N7 paintjob. It just doesn't feel right for my Ryder.

I just hope Ryder will deserve to wear it. N7 is for the best of the best. And how exactly fathers armor will fit on Sara?  It's pretty much an RPG staple for the male armour you're putting on to magically sprout extra boob space when a female character wears it. :S |

No, because I took N7 very seriously in the MET. I tried my damndest to keep Shepard in decent Onyx armor in ME1 (for the N7 logo) and understood that the clone was clueless about the true meaning of the red stripe (which is why s/he had a blue stripe). It's something to be earned. I realize in Andromeda it's a relic of a place and time lost to them forever but I still don't like it. Too soon.
