If you are saying that you want to see more Chinese characters in Mass Effect, then I support that! Hopefully there will be a wide cast of diverse characters in the upcoming game.

I believe OP wants Chinese Language supported by the game, as well as perhaps shipping/sales in china. I support this fully.
If the OP is talking about adding more chinese characters, I don't necessarily see anything wrong with that, but idk if saying "we need an X guy" and then writing in that character is good developmentally. characters should develop naturally, and i dont think bioware is excluding chinese characters.
edit: I thought the OP might be saying he would like Scott/Sara to be customizable as a chinese or otherwsie asian character, as in the character creator mechanics. I think this is already supported but if not it definitely should be.
s/he also wants the price to match the local economy as opposed to being the european-equivalent. sounds pretty reasonable to me.
It is funny that they are directing people here.

The Captain from the IGN intro video looks pretty Chinese to me, if that's what you're saying OP. Reminds me of the Captain from The Expanse's Donnager MCRN Ship.

Hmm... Why am I underwhelmed by such a request?
Oh yes! Here's why. The Chinese will find a way to invade this product, overwhelm it with what... prison inmates this time around? Lack of originality can always be overridden with massive investment right? *snort* If you can't innovate simply overwhelm with sheer numbers... right?
Fucking pathetic.

I'm assuming Mass Effect Andromeda already supports a localization of the game in China. That leads me to believe the OP is wanting to be able to create a Ryder that looks Chinese? If that's the case, it's likely too late for such a request to have any impact as the game is about to release. Unless the character creation doesn't already provide options to look Chinese/Japanese/Korean/etc., then I'm afraid there's not much BioWare can do.
However, we did see that some of the MP characters appear to be of Asian descent. That, at the very least, gives credence to the idea that one will be able to make a character from that part of the world.

Here's what google translate did for his chinese post for lazy people that don't feel like it:
"As a Chinese, I call BIOWARE to add Chinese to Mass Effect ™: Andromeda
In China, some people still like Mass Effect, we want to use Chinese
The following picture is attached to the EA customer service and I talk to the Chinese mainland compared to the ME forum"

Out of curiosity I googled to see if there was anything on a Chinese localization. I didn't get any relevant hits, but did get one hit for an article about there not being a Japanese localization for Andromeda. So if they aren't doing a Japanese localization, Chinese is by no means guaranteed.

People in other parts of the world are not as obsessed with representation as we are here it seems. That said I was happy to see some Chinese characters in the info so far. While technically you could make an Asian Shepard, I could never do it successfully. The CC was plainly designed with Europeans and Africans in mind.

So if they aren't doing a Japanese localization, Chinese is by no means guaranteed. I'm not so sure. I looked on Origin and these were the "supported languages": Deutsch (DE), English (US), Español (ES), Français (FR), Italiano The problem is I'm not sure whether this is referring to voice overs or also subtitles. BioWare generally always has voice overs done in English, German, and French. I'm under the impression Spanish and Italian are probably just in subtitles, but they could have VO as well. The page for the game doesn't actually specify, but it would seem odd to me that BioWare wouldn't support more languages for at least subtitles. It's pretty standard for AAA games to at least have Japanese and Chinese, given the size of those markets. www.origin.com/usa/en-us/store/mass-effect/mass-effect-andromeda/deluxe-edition

Look I don't mean to be a disrespectful asshole here, but is this sort of a thing reaaally that big of a deal breaker or a problem? Is it that impossible for you to just play the game in the language the developers made it in and embrace the world of the game that way? I'm not from an English speaking country either and the game doesn't support my first language in any way but I don't care at all about that. In fact even if it was an option, I'd much prefer to play it in English anyway because that's the authentic experience, having it in my own language would make it extremely unimmersive and quite frankly, for the lack of a better word, awfully cringy in my opinion.

As someone originally from China, I can confirm that what OP wants is the Chinese language localization(subtitles, not dubbing). Yes there are a lot of ME fans in China but I believe currently there is no official Chinese language support planned for MEA. Previously the only way to play ME trilogy in Chinese is through some unofficial localization patches made by fans. OP also would like MEA sale price in China adjusted to local income level. LOL that EA support directed OP to the unofficial BSN

Well then perhaps this is a chance to learn and improve his/her English. That's how I learned it as a kid, by watching cartoons and films in English. At first I didn't understand anything but step by step I started to improve and learn and now I speak English as well as I speak my first language. if OP enjoys western entertainment then it would be very beneficial for them to learn the language anyway. I know I'd make an effort to do that if I decided to immerse myself in games or films made in China or Japan for example.
