I have to admit it sounds very promising, but its IGN... There words carry little weight to me. I'll just have to see for myself ultimately. Here's hoping the world building is on par with Mass Effect 2 though. If they can nail the world building and lore, really get the side missions to be meaty and involved, rich with npc interaction/dialogue choices, really get the side missions to help build the world and make it fully realised & feel lived in etc... If they can do that i think that'd go along way to getting a ton of old time fans and science fiction lovers on-side. Me included.

Rather, it's IGN's SCORES that are terrible--they give 9.5s & 10s to games they whine about for half the review, and 7s to games they praise constantly--but the content of their reviews are regularly spot-on. I've always felt that IGN would benefit a lot more if they just did away from the stupid scoring system for game reviews. |

IGN has been so integral in marketing the game they may as well be a division of EA, can't trust them to be objective.

Yep. If Destin or that Miranda girl writes the review it's going to be worthless. Destin has become their marketing tool. I can't believe there's not more people pointing this out.

Decent read but IGN play up stuff so idk. Does sound like Mass Effect 1 since that's my favourite in the series I'm happy about that.

IGN are shills. Probably one of the most sycophant outlets out there. I would be much more confident if it was Gamespot, they are doing better when it comes to not shying away from criticism.
