Well...let's hope this build was an early one and that they have fixed the facial animations here. Otherwise I can see many memes being created out of these people.

The NPCs look terrible. Bethesda quality. I think at this point everyone should go into the game with low expectations in regards to the animations. It is going to be bad at release.
The Nexus' lounge looks lame too, though the activities that take place there make it sound like it may be more interesting than Afterlife or Purgatory.

Also, slam poetry? As if I wasn't expecting enough cringey dialogue already. As if after 200 years, and contact with at least 20 new cultures, that "art" would have survived...

Honestly the only reason facial animations are being picked on so much is because that is virtually all we are seeing. Cut scene content focusing on...you get it...facial animations. When we get to the game and the hundred or so hours it will probably take to finish these ten minute cut scenes and just flashes of 'bad animation' will just fade into the background.

Yea, well, at some point it all blends together, I guess... it was so in all other games. Doesn't change the fact that BW hasn't learned to do it... generations after ME1. Compared to other AAA games, these animations just don't measure up anymore.

If the slam poet isn't there for comedy (Hanar or Elcor), I hope there is an out-the-airlock renegade interrupt.
Because filling the lounge with pretentious melodrama would not be an improvement.

Also because the faces are more realistic than ever. So uncanny valley becomes a real problem. With low quality models/meshes/textures it doesn't bother you that the animations are also shit. When they start looking like real faces, but don't move like real faces, it's very jarring.

I took these screengrabs on my phone. It's 17 pics of R&D/crafting and DAI-style perks. Spoilered for slow connections.

5. So Liara's voice is in Andromeda. Yey Liara. But did you hear what she was talking about? Ancient cilizations, and the lack of finding information. It was in Ryder's, a former N7s quaterts. Hmmm. I wonder if he was trying to piece together the 'Reaper threat' on his own. More evidence that at least some in the AI was taking the Reapers seriously. I'm betting he knows all about the Reapers and the threat they pose. Alec is a N7 and probably had access to everything Shepard would have reported. Probably a few others on the AI mission know as well. Also wouldn't be surprised if information was relayed to the the Arks while they were sleeping.

Also that turian's eyes are also buggy if you look at them carefully.. Yup, this game should have been delayed lol Believing that day-one patch will fix all this is really naive, I don't even know that any patch will fix this mess Still should not ruin the game for me I hope..

The Citadel held, iirc, 11 million. Why would the AI need something of comparable size for 100,000? Especially when most of those are going to be colonizing planets.

I doubt it's actually of comparable size... IGN didn't quite know what they talk about there, I recon. Also: I guess the station will eventually be a trade and governmental hub as the Citadel, so people will live and work there, even if the actually have a home on one of the colonies.

They are probably talking about the size of the explorable area, not the size of the station.
