Anyone else plan on never using the "professional" dialoge?

My bro is going to be very profesional. At least out in the field. Very matter of fact and methodical.

I'm hoping mine can channel every cheesy one-liner from 80's action films, like these:



Plus some Robocop.

I wouldn't say never, but it will probably be the one I use least.

If the previous games used the same dialogue system most of the dialogue choices I used for Shepard would probably have fallen under professional, so I wouldn't want Ryder to be the same character.

You can have two characters use the same dialog options but still be very different characters in terms of the why's. My Shepard, who probably would have used a lot of the professional dialog, was an established confident bad ass.  While my Ryder I plan on being professional because he is trying to imitate daddy and is a lot less confident in himself. 

I'm definitely going to use the professional tone for most of my Ryders. I like my characters to be as prim, proper, and poised as possible. Logical is the tone I'm probably not going to use a lot, at least, depending on how insufferable and self-aggrandizing it comes across like so many "logical" people I know.

Somehow I doubt even the 'professional' option will sound professioal.

Did you see this mess they call "Initiative"? Professional is the hero they need, but don't deserve.
Still I'll probably might go softer on someone outside of my team.

My first couple of Ryder's will be mostly professional. I think I'll be using all 4 types as to what type and when depends on the kind of character I'm RP'ing. My first Sara though will be mostly Professional but will allow her guard to drop a bit when talking with those she has a soft spot for and will show a more caring maybe casual side around her team but for dealing with external situations she'll  mostly be professional.

I will use the choice that is ruthless.
