A comet broke away from the Andromeda galaxy and found it's way to Sol where Alec Ryder discovered DNA from several species in the Helios cluster and decided to genetically engineer his children to contain bits from all of them before working to get the Andromeda Initiative off the ground in order to install his freaky offspring as the new overlords of Andromeda.

I'm looking at "Sleeping Dragons". Clearly, that's evidence that Thedas is in Andromeda and that the Ryders will be visiting. Whichever Ryder twin we don't play moves to Thedas and stars in DA4.
