ME2 launch trailer, easily. However I think going blockbuster ultimately did more harm than good to the series. Hindsight is 20/20.

ME3 launch trailer I guess. ME2 was already out by the time I got into the series so going back and watching that launch trailer didn't have the same impact as ME3's did.

Totally off-topic (another game altogether), but a recent trailer that got me into a hype overdose was this:
... in the game, during the storming of the Bastille, you're actually a prisoner inside; so this scene doesn't happen. This trailer captured people's imaginations so badly, though. One of the things it seemed to promise was more involvement in landmark events of the Revolution, from a distinctly anti-Royalist perspective; but in reality the Revolution was only the faint backdrop to a pretty lame story of 'love and redemption', and there were pretty legitimate complaints that it was a little too friendly towards the king.
... more on topic, I don't think any MEA trailers we've seen so far could be quite so misleading, in the same way. |

One of the best trailers of all time really: yeah this is probably mine as well but then I've got a couple as I like as this one is proibably one of my faves for ME3 as it left me feeling "oh "£$% now we're in for it." As for my favourite Andromeda trailer I'd say probably the December game awards one with Sara is my favourite. |

The ME3 reveal trailer always gives me chills. If you were watching the ad without knowing what it's for, you'd think it's just another military shooter until it zooms out of Big Ben and you see the Reapers. Then you're like "IT'S FUCKING MASS EFFECT!" The shot of Shepard walking towards the camera as those few bars of the ME theme play is just epic.
