My current playthrough of the trilogy has been mostly shotgun, a lot of SMG, and a bit of pistol (vanguard) so I'll most likely use an assault rifle and sniper rifle quite a bit in MEA.

For me, it all depends if all mods will be viable for all weapons or not. If yes, I’ve a found the Graal to be the best weapons of them all in ME3: an anti-monster weapons, which ignore armour, shoot tungsten nails and cause gruesome dismemberment on lesser enemies, staggering even bosses. Also, it works on every distance, has a charge up mechanic for more damage, and the only added difficulty it possesses is the one of not being a hit scan weapon. So, if I’ll be able to add a power magnifier to one of this, I’ll be set for all the adventure, creating terror totems on the walls with a single trigger depression (my personal best in Me3 multi is a triple headshot, but I think I could do better).
If not, I think I’ll go for an Executioner with power magnifier (or the meanest pistol of them all) + a decent sniper rifle.

My ME3 preferred weapons are: Cerberus Harrier N7 Hurricane N7 Eagle N7 Piranha M-6 Carnifex M-358 Talon M-90 Indra
I will either use those or some some improved weapons if they come up with em. I have been avoiding the weapons spoilers so I will have to find my new faves.
I usually carry an assault rifle and switch between the shotguns, SMGs and pistols, depending on my mood. I use the Harrier and Indra when I know there will be a lot of distance shots.

There is also the Kett machete/Niuweidao hybrid. And also the Angaran blade, forgot the name... Personally though, the good old biotic fistcuff is all I need, when it's Kali Mah style: Yes, I aim to make the Kett shit bricks at the mere whisper of "Ryder".

Assault rifle, it's always the most balanced gun. But the maps look bigger so a sniper rifle wouldn't be a bad choice.

Probably carry an AR and a Sniper or maybe just craft a Mattock that functions like a proper Destiny-style scout rifle (I can dream, right?). Also seems like it will be necessary to have a strong gun yourself since there's only one other AR user among the squad (Vetra) and one sniper (Jaal). Too bad there's no real modding to speak of in these games, I'd love to have one of these bad boys with me in Andromeda.

Honestly? Sniper rifles.
I'm always an archery rogue in Inquisition or dual-dagger rogue in Origins. In Mass Effect 2, the sniper rifle wasn't too good so I used pistols there, but recently I did my first infiltrator sniper rifle playthrough of Mass Effect 1.... Saren was, as Varric said, easy as pie.
It's a lazy weapon honestly.

I never was any good with sniper rifles and I hate how slow shotguns are. Just give me a nice assault rifle like the Harrier to spam bullets, pistol and a melee weapon to go frenzy.

Vanguard with Asari Sword (or Kett/Remnant variant, if there are any). Why shoot bullets, when you can be sworded bullet yourself?

I always end up with the jack of all trades assault rifles. But shotguns do look like a lot of fun this time around, I might end up giving them a chance.

There are swords. What else do I need, but a space sword, a space knight and a space mage? Seriously, melee weapon with stealth should be fun to play.

A sword never jams, never has to be reloaded, is always ready, true. Its worst shortcoming is that it takes great skill and patient, loving practice to gain that skill; it can’t be taught to raw recruits in weeks, nor even months... But for what reasons the sword had to be invented? Because the strength of one didn’t suffice anymore: because the ends were too far. But a cat cannot kill a tiger, even if they both have talons: if you're already a bullet, you don't need a sword.
