At some point, all of them. Probably focus on assault rifles and pistols early on, though.

The assault rifles is always the jack of all stats, since ill start as a soldier this will be the perfect weapon.

Well I guess the asari sword is quick but do less damage and the krogan hammer is slow but deadly when it touches.

I think that is all we know for now.

Honestly depends on what kind of weird weapons they will slap into which category. I liked the Geth Plasma ''shotgun'' in ME3 for example and Reegar, except both of those weapon were not shotguns at all.. even thought they occupied that slot.
