So ive not seen any medi-gel in the trailers used, just manual squad healing(going over them and reviving). You know that button that revives all your squaddies when u press it, and you have quantities of it.
Did they remove it completely?
If so thats gonna be fun on higher difficulties.... Medigels used to safe me from difficult situations alot.

Yeah kids were snorting it to get high so it got banned.
In all seriousness I'm not sure if they got rid of it as a concept, or just as a combat gameplay feature (doesn't make sense that they'd get rid of it as a technology really) or neither. I thought I heard something to the effect of it was no longer something you could use in combat, but I think I also saw the player reviving a squadmate in one of the gameplay livestreams or something.

You can definitely still manually revive at least. Not sure about medi gel.

Medigels used to safe me from difficult situations alot. I believe I saw medigel on the D Pad in a multiplayer video, along with rockets. Think the idea is to revive squad manually and medigel yourself though, based on gameplay. Of course since we haven't seen more than 5 minutes of MP video I could easily be wrong.

Self-revive is a MP thing, same as ME3MP. Medi-gel still exists lore wise and I'm sure the idea behind manually reviving teammates is us using it to get them on there feet (instead of a good shoulder pat down like in other game?). It just doesn't magically revive the whole teammate miles away.
Which, yeah, will make it more difficult. Can't just sit back and keep reviving the minions in relative safety.
