Ok so the launch trailer shows mostly Scott. There is only one scene of Sara and she is captured by the Khett and the are scanning her or something.
So my theory is the reason our twin is not around is that the Khett kidnap them at some point and are using whatever connection the Ryder's have to the Remenent.
