I didn't blame him, think of it form his point of view.

The dude can barely walk. The Normandy was basically his legs. He didn't want to leave them behind, even if it meant dying.

Its not hard to fill Joker's shoes. I do like him as a character and as a place in the MEU (I'd even not mind seeing him again somehow), but:

-he's not that interesting to me, personally
-I feel weird about how inconsistent his syndrome seems
-ME3 ending is weird with him in Synthesis

He's a 3/5. Bioware, use him if you have good reason and indeed want to touch on MW content more.

Other than that, sure, bring on Kallo!

No need to. ME:A establishes enough nostalgia with the MW races and technology.

All the characters should be able to stand on their own in terms of quality so it feels fresh and new.

And joker was the comic relief when we had very dry, serious characters. Different situation now with a lighter tone. I just want Kallo to be like that bad ass nerdy competitive gamer but in salarian form. Slightly odd but very much a pro at what he does

He's a malingerer.

Thinks people didn't read the codex or pay attention to dialogue in ME1, so he pretends all of his body is ceramic in ME2-3. Why? Because he doesn't want to go on details or have to actually do stuff.
