From screenshots alone I'm pretty sure we can conclude hair looks much better than in DAI, I think.

Looks the same as DA2 where it also moved based on physics in cutscenes and was rendered in a way where it didn't look like chunks of clay.

I don't think so. I think in order to keep Alec looking the way he does in the trailer you need to keep the default twins. When you customize the Ryder twins Alec is generated from them. Maybe someone could clarify that, but I think that's how it works.

Well that sucks because on my 3rd and 4th play through I wanted to do custom. But the thought of losing Alec's badass face?? Lucky my first and canon play through I'm using default Sara.

I really hope rendering the father is why better than the family rendering in DA2. The other families in DA2 looked awful compared to the default family. I had to play as a white guy, just to keep the default family. so far Alec rendered face doesn't look so bad compared to his default face.

I'm not watching the story (consciously trying to avoid story spoilers..)... but considering a lot of us probably gonna spend days on character customization (as I did with on DAI) would love to see a vid on that.

It work well for my Bethany and Leandra (both gorgeous) but I never seem to get around the same pasty white Carver.
