The first three ME games weren't really known for modding so I won't be surprised if I don't see many mods for Andromeda. ME3 was VERY HEAVILY MODDED, including incredible mods like expanded galaxy or revised ending. But in general, with the inception of the Frostbite 3 engine, the days of great modding like BG's Big World Project are over

DAO was very moddable, DA2 not that much but still moddable, ME1/2/3 are also moddable (especially ME3) even if it's not that easy, and DAI is also more moddable that I could ever imagine thanks to amazing talented guys and girls in PC gaming I hope that MEA will be moddable at least like DAI.. I want to change those strange eyes and plastic/shiny hairs

So to me there is no guarantee that any of the claims players make about mods would come true because it worked for other games.

Lol, comparing any game to Bethesda's games modding capabilities will always look like this (if it would not be for modding, I would never buy Bethesda games in the first place), what other games can compete with Skyrim in modding? But that does not mean DAO modding is/was small, there are many great mods for it even these days, the same goes for The Witcher series. I should add that I don't expect any modding from MEA or at most the same as for DAI, even if so it would be fine as I could mod the most annoying things in DAI

There wasn't much modding for ME1 and 2 apart from HD Texture mods (which I can recommend).
Mass Effect 3 has quite a few mods. I think most notable are Expanded Galaxy Mod and the various ending mods. I think the main reason why ME3 has a more active community is because the dissatisfaction the ending caused and players wanted to give their own spin on that, which led to many people digging deep into the game files, crafting tools, etc.
DAO, DA2 and DAI have some nice mods as well. Especially DAI has more things in it than I think it would.
I suspect MEA to be about as moddable as DAI, perhaps a bit less.

The thing is that DAO and ME3 also have gameplay mods that not only replace existing things, but also adds many new (ME3 Recalibrated, BackOff, CEM, EGM, JAM, TM and much more) like restoring cut quests, fixing many vanilla bugs [Ashley Marksman bug anyone?], dialogues and even adding ability to have some of the ME2 squad to be in some ME3 missions, while most mods for DA2, DAI ME1/2 are mostly small gameplay tweaks, texture replacers etc, but there are also others like ''Bi Cullen'' mod which even restores some cut dialogues I loved some quest mods with full voice acting in some of DAO mods Still, even small mods are still better than no modding at all.
