just fyi/btw, stasis in mass effect is not like cryo stasis, i believe it manipulates dark energy to literally stop the atoms and keeps them from moving, they are not even directly affected by entropy. the space between the particles that make up the atoms is manipulated into being completely stationary, in stasis. in this kind of stasis it would appear to you as though no time has passed at all, that is why Prothy the Prothean, i mean.. Javik.. wakes up reacting to the stimulus he had received right when he was 'hit' with the stasis 'beam'. Basically, perfect stasis space magic. Yeah, that's how the whole Protheans did it and we've seen it a few times in past trilogy. But for Andromeda they've been specifying 'Cryostasis' so.. I mean it could be normal mass effect stasis with a touch of cold to keep the environment around it stable or something, I dunno. It's one of those things that I always thought was odd for them to note it's cryostasis vs past games all biotic stasis.

Omni-gel. And the fact that we already know the tech can go 50k years buried underground unused and still function; 600 years in a vacuum isn't going to do much. Indeed. If the ships can survive 6 centuries without no one doing maintenance why the same shouldn't apply to the rest of the tech we bring? ps: Your question makes no sense OP. We don't know if it was maintenance free, though. To me, it'd make sense to have certain members of the staff wake up periodically. Have a group up and out of stasis for a year and a half before going into stasis, 50 years later, another group wakes up, etc, until a few months before scheduled arrival where people wake up to do the preparations for waking up the rest upon arrival and getting things coordinated to have everyone ready to land on planets asap.

I bet they have those mouse droids from Star Wars rolling around and fixing stuff. Being scared by Krogan and the like.
