Here's some off screen multiplayer footage

I'm really starting to feel the pain for not doing the early access. I think I will unplug my internet starting the 16th and cry bitterly.

This is the best footage they've released of the game so far, and it has no audio, is on a cell phone and a fan did it.

I'm glad to see that there appears to still be a high pace to the game despite a lot of the changes they've made to the gameplay.

Now I'm most curious about the map size. That doesn't look much bigger than FB Dagger, which I always thought was just about the perfect size for a map in this game. Sure, smaller and bigger maps had their fun too, but on an average I found it just right. Hoping that they're similarly sized to ME3 maps and not all gigantic. Just because the SP went "bigger is always better" doesn't mean that its the same in MP too.

I pre-ordered already way back and I don't think I have the time either. I'm just bitching, really.

"Wave seven: Extraction"

So are we having only seven waves instead of ten now? Or can we choose how many waves in a match? I think I like that. Ten waves usually takes about half an hour, so you can't hop online for a quick game or two. I normally have to make sure I have at least an hour free for finding a match and then actually completing it.

I can see camping at extraction when its new. I will probably do that the first few MP games until I get the feel of the pacing and strength of the enemies. I remember missing extraction a few times on ME3 MP when I didn't know the map and couldn't get to the extraction point after messing around too long.

Looking at this video to me it totally feels like a 'copy-and-paste' version of ME3MP, which might be a pretty good thing provided that they have fixed the flaws there were in ME3MP (connectivity and RNG especially).

It's really hard to say.  So many restrictions were placed on the game because of PAX, such as a level cap of 10 and fixed guns.  Why not a wave cap too?  I did see some pic where the tutorial took 14 waves....then again it would have been 14 things they think they need to explain to the player as well.  We will see.  4 days till its in the hands of some of the community members and people are going to tear the game apart and we will know pretty much everything.

Could also scale up with the difficulty. Everything I've read have said it was set to bronze difficulty at PAX. Maybe silver/gold have more waves.

You can still cancel your preorder, get access and then preorder again. You don't even have to play the 10h on the 16th, you can space it out over several days before launch.
