I'm curious to know if Lance primes. I believe I've seen a description that only mentions detonation. I could be wrong though. Seems to be a trend with a lot of powers. Overload description, for example, says it only detonates, no mention of priming. I'm expecting Tech primers like Energy Drain, Incinerate, Cryo Stream, to only prime, and not detonate. So combo detonations across the board are probably not going to be as prolific, and require some pre-planning on the part of the team. That's not a bad thing, because the tradeoff is that they can be made more powerful. Even ammo primers, last I heard, were of limited use. Maybe we'll get a screenshot of those in the next day or so.

I don't like the sound of that. Having to rely on PUGs? What about scenarios when they've all bled out? Solo the Wave until there's one mook left, then let it kill you I am the type of player that prefers working together with teammates over being the 1 man wrecking crew that some kits in ME3 could be (Drell Adept->cluster grenade) so I'm excited with the new emphasis on complimenting your kits with teammates. However, if a person has to PUG, I can see that being quite frustrating.

When asked if it was going to be possible to solo MultiPlayer, they said something along the lines of "it's more team-oriented than ME3MP". This probably referred to the objectives, but possibly also power combo detonations as well.
Whether or not it ends up being a better game, we'll see. It seems they are taking steps to try to force us to play it a certain way. That usually results in needless frustration in other games I've played that attempted such things.

Perhaps some of the rare and ultra rare kits will have more self detonation capabilities. That could pigeonhole the experience to just a few classes tho.

It seems a bit interesting that they use N7 for the ultra Rares in this game. Also piranha as an ultra rare? Probably not a bad idea if it ends up having 10 rounds like previous SP gameplay has shown.

I could imagine the Stealth Grid priming enemies in the vicinity, though, like Annihilation Field did in ME3.

At first I was not pleased with seeing singularity and pull on the same character but it may have some utility for diverse crowd control options and priming. I so so so so so so much wish the HA had throw instead of shockwave, though. I always found shockwave to be exponentially less reliable for detonating than throw. On a related note, the pull-throw combo on the Kineticist actually has me pretty excited. Those two will have fast cooldowns that will partially overlap after a bang-bang combo (independent cooldowns also in MP, right?). Even if Lance ends up being a disappointment I can spec out of it and soak up some extra shields. I'm not as allergic to fitness as many BNSers. If Lance is useful than that's a nice bonus for me.

Biotics rejoice! \[T]/ Praise Father Kyle \[T]/ Are they stuck with the weapons shown, or are they just their starter weapons and we can change them later on? I hope Bioware isn't taking another step back like not being able to change squadmates' loadouts. The weapons and character levels are locked during the PAX East event and you can only play on Bronze with level 10 characters and those predetermined weapons. The only thing you can do is customise your armour. In the finished game, we will have the same weapon weight system as in ME3

I usually prefer Incinerate before Carnage. But then Carnage isn't needed if you already have a Reegar Anyone knows what Turbocharge does on the HS? Is it like Adrenaline Rush?
