What? Just wait till you see my 6/6/6/6/6 Kroguard detonating DOUBLE FIRE EXPLOSIONS with Incendiary rounds + Carnage + Biotic charge! IMO recharge time for carnage is too long. I usually prefer Incinerate before Carnage. But then Carnage isn't needed if you already have a Reegar Anyone knows what Turbocharge does on the HS? Is it like Adrenaline Rush? I'm hoping it's just a namechange. The SI has "Trip Mine" which I'm hoping is just a Proxy Mine namechange. Incidentally, the "Charger" SMG is probably exactly the Tempest SMG, but since there is a ship named the Tempest, they had to rename the SMG because otherwise Bioware's SP fanbase would be confused. It's also why I don't expect the Lancer to be in the game, because we now have a Power called Lance, and that would confuse people.

(I know, there was a guy on the old BSN who had all of his kits 6/6/6/6/6 glitched and claimed -among many other ridiculous things- that what I wrote above was possible even after Loufi and I tested it and deemed it impossible for the same reason you wrote. I was just trying to meme.) Judging from the icon, Turbocharge looks more like Marksman 2.0, but don't quote me on that.

It was stated to function just like prox mine with the added function of a laser trip-wire. So multiple avenues for detonation. It was hard to visually distinguish the vector of the laser, though.

Thanks for the link, Xan. I'm belatedly starting to get excited for Andromeda, it seems like Bioware really understand how special ME3 Multiplayer was and aren't altering the formula too much.

Well it was used on one of those Rancor things that ate Ryder in the first big gameplay reveal. It didn't appear to do massive damage so I'm inclined to think it will more closely resemble prox mine. It is also limited by charge capacity which is apparently distinctly separate from grenade capacity. Not sure how that will translate to MP. For what it's worth, I'd be surprised if it resembled cains in any way other than its secondary detonation mechanism.

Too bad they only went half way with the smart cover. Would have been amazing! SMR got his wish on the trip mine. Turbo Charge is Marksman .5 lol.

I dunno, trip mine sounds much more like the Talon trip mine than Proximity mine to me. Costs a Power Cell (grenade), has a laser tripwire, deals more damage with no mention of debuff, and you can deploy multiples at once. I just realised they have the concept of headshots with biotic powers (or at least with lance which I hope activates like Phase disrupter).

I imagine that Cain mines would have been massively nerfed had the dev team had more time post release of the kit. The end of balance changed definitely felt rushed to end their time on the game and I'm sure at that point the remaining people working on the game was quite small.

Shield boost lol. At least it isn't on a shared cooldown, could be a pretty cool kit. Split 4/4 with Support Systems I guess. Invasion sounds like a Tech version of Warp+Dark Channel. Just seems strange that Energy Drain, which is a staple of Salarian Kits in ME3MP (granted there are only 2 of those), is essentially a combination of Overload and Shield Boost, yet this guy has each of those instead of having Energy Drain.

Oooo..
I'll try to get Krogan Vanguard ASAP.
Depending on the crew and if the hammer is available, I'll try to crush anything I charge while using the AR weapons for longer range or we get pinned down. If shotguns are not that hard on weight vs my biotic abilities, I might go all out close-range (with a biotic buddy to combo) behind an enemy that's charging our other allies. Havoc!! Lol.
All depends if I can complement my crew though.

I don't like the sound of that. Having to rely on PUGs? What about scenarios when they've all bled out? Solo the Wave until there's one mook left, then let it kill you You may be kidding but I've totally done that before out of spite, trolololol.

Being an Uncommon Card means he will be pretty easy to unlock and serve us as a tool to grind our way to victory early on. I just hope Charge off-host works better this time around.

This is exactly what I did last week. All my pugs bled out, so I soloed the wave and left 1 banshee standing at the end. I fired off my rockets into the sky, ran against the edge of the map, then stood still in front of the banshee and let her sync kill me. Then the worthless noobs kicked me!!

Ok, I've got a question/idea. It's probably daft and won't get an answer until early access. The Asari Sentinel description includes mention of her tech armor and the Human Kineticist mentions a power up mode, yet, their powers don't either of those abilities. I wonder if it will be an included feature to upgrade for their class (think ME3MP commando/justicar for asari, training/N7 for humans, armiger/veteran for turians, etc...)? Or, has energy drain become the new tech armor?

Now it makes sense why Energy Drain is featured so much on the sentinel class so much. It's another way to buff the passive tech armor. A little frustrated by some of the common/uncommon classes lack of self-detonation. The human sentinel was one of my favorites. I guess we will have to rely on ammo consumables until we unlock some of the rare/ultra rare classes. Or, just Kroguard
