Personally I would love to see a few airlocked for this game.
Armored compartments
Grenade capacity V (keep the options that added weapon damage +2 grenades. Perhaps with a generic bonus to weapon damage so it isn't limited to certain weapon classes)
Geth scanner
Can't think of any others that I couldn't do without but it would be interesting to see if add any that will amplify combo damage.

I used Geth Scanner and Grenade Gear at least much as everyone else but they were definitely too powerful, so I'm inclined to agree with your suggestions. Though I'd prefer Bioware nerfed those pieces of gear rather than not including them at all - more options is nearly always better.

Or we could keep all the OP gear and make it consumable. Or perhaps with a finite number of uses before being re-charged at the cost of credits (like repairing breakable weapons in other games). Most of the non-OP gear was limited in utility unless their bonuses were modified by a multiplier, like cloak. One I did like was the stronghold package, mostly on my geth characters to better maintain my shield gate.

I am not a big fan of spawn nuking, so maybe Armored compartments should get nerfed. Grenade capacity is only really broken in combination with the possibility to replenish ammo 7 times each match, so let's see how that is handled in Andromeda.
Since there seems to be a lot of jumping/verticality in the new game, maybe they could add gear to enhance jumping speed and distance. I think that could be a lot of fun.

I just need my Juggernaut Shield. When my i finally unlock my upgraded Geth Juggernaut (Geth Prime in ME: A) I need that to accent the real master race of the Mass Effect universe. He may not be a geth infiltrator, but he is still top of the food chain especially with the improvements to the prime.
I agree with doing away with geth scanner. We don't need or want any wannabes.
Grenade V needs to stay. There must be that great Baterian with ballistic blades and inferno grenades for those that play lesser races.

I would love to AC, GS and grenade capacity back again. Most useful assets on solo missions. They may be a little too powerful for pug games, but that's a decision for everyone.
Medigel Transmitter and that accuracy bonus can be spaced. Not useful at all. I haven't seen anyone using them.

For a while i used gs a lot but not much lately. I only used nade capacity for my drell adept and imo he needs something like that. If you are grenade based and there is even one other guy in the group that uses them up you can be running around with 1 or 2 nades all game.

Some sort of adrenaline gear that gives movement speed. I'd slap it on every kit and call it a day.

Although I have tried all the gear I only use maybe four of them. I remember when the Grenade gear came out, I was getting kill streaks on London with grenades using the destroyer... But I am not a big Grenade player, love biotics and tech explosions. I am of the mind to leave all the options there as we all play different and hope they can balance the power granted by them. As for nuking spawns/speed runs, well in my case it served a purpose to get credits to get the manifest donw but it isn't that much fun to me.

Would love to see armoured compartments, geth scanner and grenade capacity in this game as they are the three best, most fun and most useful gear bonuses, despite all three being weak and underpowered. Not having them would make the game quite bad. Would also love to see responder loadout, I rely heavily on that for my geth characters.

MEA:MP has compass with red dots (as the enemies) on it. Besides, you get the "geth vision" near the end of wave.

Personally, seeing the weapons load-out from the screen shots so far have me VERY disappointed. I think I'm going to wait to buy this game now. And if it sucks just skip it.
I remembering per-ordering MW3, getting it home and after playing it for an hour bringing it right back to GameStop to sell it. That game was totally phoned in by the developers.
These guys had 5 years to develop new weapons and I'm still getting the Revenant, Carnifex, etc. from ME1?
I really hope I am wrong, mainly for the people in this forum (so you guys aren't so disappointed). I really do.

While there are some default staple Milky Way weapons that they brought with them (lore reasons ofc) there are also new weapons as well. It's too early for a complete list but I actually expect Milky Way weapons to be the minority.

Start with the old standards, then work in the new stuff as you explore, etc. But I also thought that with MW3 and some other games and found them to just a rehash of the same tired game. Again, TOTALLY hope I am wrong here. I would LOVE to be completely and utterly wrong about my initial reaction/assumptions.

Oh and on topic, get rid of rockets. All of them. Or at the very least, let them cause damage to yourself and teammates.
Rocketing at your own feet was one of the silliest gameplay mechanics of the game.

Rocketing at your own feet was one of the silliest gameplay mechanics of the game. Would have preferred to have more traditional Heavy Weapon selection than the generic rockets. But then how would pugs ever complete a Kill Target Objective? And what would they do if a Hack gets overrun? We here at BSN know how to deal with these issues, and therein lies the problem with rockets. It's a "get out of jail free card" rather than a "learn and improve your game card". It encourages sloppy, lazy gameplay behaviour and bad habits. TLDR rockets are a crutch

There has to be a price to letting yourself get surrounded or into bad situations. We all fall victim to it, but just letting a rocket loose at your feet was laughable since there was no loss (other than the rocket). If you took out your entire squad since you were firing a rocket in a hack circle, that would make you think twice. Also, I think the eternal revive should have gone. A revive cost you a medigel. It would first come from the downed person, then if they are out, you would lose one. If you are all out, then no more revives.

Especially since they made the ground troops a lot bigger assholes and they started to ROTFLStomp you in a second. And it really isn't worth shit, unless you play with friends and can actually communicate and maybe get a "designated medic" on the team, but honestly I have never used it once, unless we were making a joke-video (like this).
