Rumors about nudity?

This was asked in the Q&A stream. Ian said no willies or lower genitalia. The level of nudity will be the same as Inquisition's

Technically they could with a rating of 'nudity' but I don't see them going down that route. Modders might add it in later tho.

Well a new start could mean many different things to people 

It's not that ridiculous actually. 

In Alaska, a majority of the strippers are not natives and were basically "recruited" to come up there. 

Not much demand for locals I guess...what with either being homeless and/or on meth...


Edit: Full disclosure: I can't 100% confirm that's the truth. This is what my old co-workers told me when I lived there for awhile and they're not the most reliable bunch...Either way your post made me remember that and chuckled.

I have every expectation of the game development industry that it will shove breasts in my face as much as humanly possible. When it's otherwise, I'm pleasantly surprised. Playing games is typically like opening up my mailbox and finding penis enlargement spam--enthusiastic certainty from the seller that I desperately want the product that's being sold, when in fact all that's happening on my side is that I'm being greatly annoyed at having my time wasted by nothing I'd ever be interested in.

Sometimes there's a bit of ass from male characters. But usually it's mostly breasts and female asses. That was certainly the case in Inquisition, which showed me my protagonist naked but kept all the interesting male bits covered, including asses. (Except Dorian's, but he's not available to ladies.)

I lost interest in the Witcher series for this reason. I can deal with a lack of nudity, but the excessive presence of strictly female nudity grates on me heavily. Too many naked ladies, not enough naked men who aren't Geralt the dirty old white man, who reminds me of a glam version of this geriatric stalker I had one time.

Don't laugh. That was actually really disturbing.

I'd really prefer there not be topless women in bars, not unless we at the very minimum have as many male dancers with nothing covering their southern ends. But I'm all too aware that the ME trilogy took a more present-day attitude to nudity, so I'm not willing to give up my cynicism at this time. All I can do is hope to be pleasantly surprised.

Maybe someday games will include a feature that lets us choose whom we see naked. That would be awesome for everyone. But until that day, I remain wary of the usual uninvited cheesecake assaults.

True. But the situation is a bit different. In Battlestar, people were already awake and alive. In Andromeda, everyone is frozen until you choose to wake them up. I would think entertainment is something that you'd come by differently and you'd allocate those resources a bit more carefully. There are alternate methods of entertainment than having people who take up too many resources.  And there seem to be plenty of people around to entertain each other when needed. AI is well funded, but they didn't bring enough along to feed everyone, counting on those golden worlds to provide what they need.

Not arguing the point, I'm just puzzled by the logic or lack thereof of that kind of decision. Of course, the AI seems to be a badly thought out idea from the start. We'll see. 

I only see this working if the "women" are actually just VI projections dancing topless. What human (or Asari I guess) is going all the way to Andromeda to dance in bars? I like topless women as much as the next guy but there's a time and a place. Early days of establishing ourselves in Andromeda is neither.
